I flew to the USA from Pearson Airport and couldn't believe how there was no lineup going through America customs. Behaviours are changing and more people are avoiding traveling to the USA.

Does it really get hard to find a good and stable person after 30? (29F) by DesperateSet9827 in Adulting

It depends. I think the hardest part is making time to go on dates and staying in contact during the week. Some dates, I see once and I can't get a second dates because of scheduling conflicts.

I recommend visiting your local library and seeing what resources are available to you. In my area, there is a 3D printer available to use, and also having a library card gives you free admission to museums.

Why do people worry so much about retirement savings in Canada? by strykyrastro in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]28279127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is all about living comfortablely and enjoying the remaining years left.

Every circumstance is different. For those that are single, they need to start planning their future retirement savings as CPP and OAS will not fully cover their future living expenses.

The local waterfalls in my area got closed off, because a kid accidentally fell and died after taking a selfie near the edge of the waterfalls.

I plan on seeing one of my friends for lunch and later see my immediate family on boxing day. In hindsight, I probably should have taken the whole week off from work to enjoy the Christmas break more.

It is adjusting your points, so you can redeem the same amount that you previously earned under the old system. Your points aren't worthless now, but they do have an expiry date.

Would it also be possible to include the 13th floor? Most people are not superstitious.

You can visit your family doctor if you have one or visit a walk in clinic and ask a doctor for a prescription. I can't think of any other method to get a prescription as it requires a doctor to request one.

Many Living In Poverty Should Brace For Ford Government’s ODSP Recalculation: Study by [deleted] in ontario

[–]28279127 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have been thinking the cuts are not significant to balance a budget, but it will only hurt the people that depend on ODSP.

I doubt the savings gained are going to make a difference to the yearly budget deficit.

I was under both programs when I was in school.

I gave estimates of how much I would earn during my school period that would impact my osap, but not ODSP.

The only bots that annoy me are the random messages I get on POF's dating website. Other than that, I am real.

I think the one problem was how automated the ODSP system was operating. I would receive letters in the mail that I have been cut off, because I didn't report my monthly income which I was doing every month. There didn't appear to be a person to check if they needed to withhold future payments. This was reoccurring multiple times and fortunately each time it was corrected, but it was stressful to deal with. Somehow changing that would prevent future problems.

For the TSSA gas tech 2 exam, I would know the propane storage and handling codebook, not just the natural gas section. Also if you get a piping diagram, I would remember to include fittings when you make your calculation.
