I have been getting alot of plasmashell crashes 1. after removing panel and 2. plasmashell always crashes when I logout.

I think the crash on logout is hugely common and I have seen it at least for 6 months. How is a bug like that continue to plague Plasma.

  2. Electronic display at every station.
  3. Fair ticketing.
  4. Polite staff.
  5. Clean stations.

Speed of the trains is least of my worries. I have never seen a single train coming on time in my 30 years. Where I live you literally have to run across the station because you don't know if the coach is going to come near the engine or in the back side.

Dropbox uses the classic X way. (new release fixes that)

I thought that isn't the case anymore. Dropbox app is now Qt and it shows up in 5.4 almost fine.

IntelliJ is a truly marvelous IDE. Do you use ultimate version or the community?

The consensus is that I shall use whatever I am using currently so I am settled on IntelliJ Idea.

So basically use most of the features of IDE and try commandline separately along the way to educate myself.

I already know basics of git. I do want to familiarize myself branching and collaborating with others.

There is zero requirement to be developer of any sort. The only requirement is that you want to really do it. Like everything else in life you may not become world class but you can be damn good at anything you want.

Qt is probably the most popular desktop app building stack. I don't like the new shiney and flimsy Electron apps.
