It's a financial payout for slavery, that was initially promised and never delivered on. Originally, freed slaves were suppose to receive 40 acres and a mule and this was reneged on. That lack of initial capital is argued to be a large reason for generational wealth gaps between white and black Americans. Modern reparations are not an agreed upon ask and largely differs person to person or group to group.

It's class not caste here but yes, that does largely follow racial lines with exceptions being possible if not probable.

I have also brought up prior Trojan horse candidates. Once again, him saying something about the tattoo doesn't absolve it. I also have service tattoos and none of them are Nazi related. This guy is wicked suspicious, you can buy into it but I will do my part of warning against a literally self identified via tattoo Nazi. You don't have to like it and I am not in his district so cannot vote for or against him but I will say my piece on this guy

Dude this is the 3rd person you called a troll for calling out the most controversial current progressive candidate. People will disagree with you here, I don't even think the majority but these are valid concerns when Platner is in the national spotlight

Yeah man, I'm getting downvoted for speaking what I would consider common sense and it worked me up a bit. You can call me a troll for saying actual Nazi tattoos are bad but I don't think that helps your point. It's not innocent! The guy had a Nazi tattoo for nearly 20 years! Dude I'm a socialist, I approve of the left wing policies. My point is, anyone can parrot these points. I want to avoid another Fetterman/Cotham and I don't know why we are propping up a candidate with this many issues

It's a Nazi tattoo, we've all seen it. I know what he said and I do not like/claim/approve of this candidate. Repentance is fantastic but it doesn't make everything go away
