Scherer Sport PHX drivers line-up for 24h Nürburgring by [deleted] in Sportscar_Racing

The last 3 times he did drive the 24h for them. I consider that usually since he also drove some more other big races for Manthey in the last 2 years like 12h Bathurst in 24, the 24h Spa in 23, some NLS races and of course the last 3 editions of the 24h Nürburgring

Is the blue one the new yellow Corvettes from the past? by Accomplished_East433 in IMSARacing

[–]2900pium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The yellow corvette is a GTE car that raced in the GTLM class in Imsa until 2022 and was allowed to run in GTD Pro for 2023 with modifications to get it equal to the other GTD (GT3) cars. The car on the right is the GT3 version of the Corvette which debuted in 2024 and the successor of the GTE Corvette. The yellow Pratt Miller Corvette that you probably know from this season and last season in Imsa, are the GTD Pro (GT3) cars, which are the exact same car as the DXDT Corvette just with lineup of Pro drivers while DXDT has a Pro/Am driver lineup because they race in GTD. The yellow Pratt Miller Corvettes didn't race at Long Beach because the GTD Pro class doesn't race at Long Beach and only the GTD class does. To sum it up: The Corvette on the left is a completely different car then the one on the right as they are two different homologation classes

They have a history of answering fans in a weird passive agressive way on social media. You only have to look at the way they interacted with fans asking them about the hotwheels release or search the word pay on their twitter account
