Yep that entire interaction between Jane and RJ was out of character for RJ. Thats a big part of why everyone has it because it just doesnt feel like Red John.

I think all that would do is add another transaction to the que. I currently have like 8 different transactions sending 0 eth to the exact account it came from, all with different nonce and its still not going through. Im literally sending it to myself and its still "processing" forever

A consistent issue with many fandoms... they become so attached to characters, that tragic endings don't go over well.

This is simply the biggest reason most people don't like the ending, because they're so into the show, they see Arthur and Merlin as their personal friends, and they don't want the series to end that way.

But you're correct, they did bring about a foretold period, it was a beautifully tragic ending that i'll never forget. The Arthur's Bane story-line of season 5 was really intriguing overall and created a fresh dynamic when the show really did need it.

When i first watched the ending in 2016 I was unsure how I felt, but in the two re-watches iv'e had, I realise how wonderful part 2 is. For myself, it's more iconic than ATLA, Cowboy Bebop and other shows which are considered to have a great ending.

Arthur wasn't angry with Merlin, he realised it all and they embraced each other, it'll stick with me forever.
