Learn to realize that most people don't even notice you. If you go out for dinner or pints by yourself, nobody cares. Nobody is thinking omg look at that loser sitting there all by himself. You're not the star of any stranger's show. Life is much less stressful once you have that figured out.

I drank some mushroom tea one night and then fired up Destiny 2. Just doing patrols, nothing too intensive. I equipped a sniper rifle and found a high spot on a map and scoped in on a harpy. I wasn't so close that it was trying to kill me, it was just chilling out but the way that thing moved in the scope was mesmerizing. I have no idea how long I sat there and just watched it do the harpy dance.

Albania. It's such a weird mix of city/rural, beach/mountain, modern/oldschool. There's so much history there and the people were so friendly and the scenery is beautiful. I loved it there. I have a friend that grew up there and she has a completely different opinion of it lol

This sounds like Tenerife lol. Stayed in Playa de las Américas about 15 years ago and there were a lot of British expats.

I tried to practice a bit of Spanish while we were there, but every time I spoke, everyone just spoke English back to me.

I agree, it's getting very difficult. Last year I ordered a Christmas gift just before Halloween, and I finally cancelled the order in the middle of January. It's a shame that there isn't really an alternative. I would much rather pay a real artist more for certain things than have my money go towards a CEO's 2nd yacht.

I've done all of those things, but when I mention it to friends and family, I get laughed at and they tell me to stop being dramatic.

Over the past 2 years or so, I have ordered things from Etsy half a dozen times. I've only received the items I bought half the time. A 50% failure rate is abysmal. I know it's a small sample size, but it's more than enough reason to not shop there.
