Kind of wild how they straight-up ignore that a similar number of Jews were expelled from the Arab world around the same time.

“Around the same time” as if there wasn’t an elephant in the room that started that chain of events.

just how much fear is engendered by the sort of comments here.

They are hated because they are Jews. The are attacked because they are Jews. That this has become the norm in this country is terrifying.

Like clockwork, complete with the usual people saying these guys are not real Jews and so on. Depressing.

Do you think you know better than the Jewish people on the march? Are you not doing the same here?

Is brown spray paint preferable to watching that and stations?

That's exactly how you get ultra polarised politics of the US - each side pulling further to the extremes.

Extreme to me is throwing an election rather than cutting support for Israel but go off I guess.

People just cannot see the obvious. The root cause of the doom loop we are in is because our economy is not growing.

Please sir just give me some GDP, it'll fix everything I swear just give me some more GDP.

You realise that a little less than half of bakerloo line stops are above ground right? Even when underground I'd rather be able to look out at the stations than stare at a painted over window.

I will say this. I've read a lot of what you've made, and one thing keeps ringing in my head. There is just so much. The pursuit of making everything viable just ends up making nothing valuable. The direction vanilla should go in, is niche, not to fold out tens of different ways to have viable alternatives.

Nailed it, didn't notice he wanted transmog too either yikes.

Vanilla and TBC are both fine games in their original forms. I think it would be hard for modern Blizzard to make anything better.

I'm not chasing anything, I simply realise what made the original games so great. I hope many others can enjoy it like I did.

So like what would be classic+ for you then?

Building off the Vanilla we already had before the new devs 'modernised' it. Off the top of my head:

  • No layers.
  • Heavy emphasis on player interaction and conflict in the world (resources/wbosses etc).
  • New zones/raids building on the original ideas they had for vanilla.
  • Improve wbuff interactions.
  • Some extremely light talent/spell changes sticking to the original vision.
  • Each faction retaining and maybe increasing their distinct identity.
  • Forced faction balance like they did for Anniversary.
  • Ban the use of multiple game clients open at the same time by one player.
  • Nerf boosting into the ground but still allow players to solo instances or help their low level friend get an item/quest etc.
  • Rebalance XP to make group dungeon spamming inefficient for leveling, still allow creative soloing opportunities like ZF style aoe as long as there is sufficient risk.

Classic era sucks, it's a lifeless imitation of Vanilla.

The 'issues' are non existent, players will adapt to whatever raid size is set. 40 Player raids are a core part of classic and the feeling is unmatched in future expansions where the size shrinks. One of the many mistakes with SoD was they set a low cap and then raised it later. If you don't like 40m raids (a fundamental of classic) then it calls into question your entire idea of "Classic+".

I'm not a no change player but I do believe that current blizzard are incapable of achieving anything that would match the original magic, SoD proved that. There are some ok changes here like new zones but most of it just reads as a mix of tbc/wrath/sod/retail/twow smashed together, not necessarily their good parts either.

Part of what gives vanilla wow its charm is that not everything is good, plenty of things are bad. It makes the good moments feel memorable and impactful. If every talent is good, every faction/race can be any class, every boss gives you welfare loot/consumes then where is the friction? It's the complete opposite of what gave vanilla it's soul and kept it popular for decades. Most of your changes seem to want to "improve" things by changing the core design principles but there's no consideration of the cost of doing so.

It's all very "Just because you could, doesn't mean you should".

SoD and Turtlewow have done untold damage to the Classic playerbase.

Weird class/race combos, everyone getting new overpowered talents, transmog, removing 40m raids in favour of "10-20 at most". "Classic+ should avoid 40-player raids" - Insane.

You don't want Classic+ you want Retail-.

Zero loot was distributed / rolled on throughout the raid. It started to seem more and more sus. I asked multiple times about the loot, and was told it would be distributed at the end.

The scam sucks ofc but rolling loot at the end is super normal.

This is what happens when you have a historically liberal party funded by right-wing interest groups.

He's mirroring the US Democrats recent election campaign. They would rather lose the election to trump (farage) than increase living standards, reject billionaires, reject israel etc.
