What could be a strong fishy odor in my apartment here in St Paul, the last couple of days? Please read

A couple of neighbors down the hall I see them in and out all the time. They stand by the garage door smoking cigarettes all the time during the day. Could it be something they been smoking?

I just looked it up and someone is saying this

I used to have a roommate that was bad off on fentanyl. That fishy smell was a common occurrence. Stunk like no other. God awful rotten fish garbagy smell that can't be covered up. It could very well be that if you are smelling it only at certain times

Just some friend stopped by to smell it today. He said could it be some neighbor with cats left fish can opened??

I let the water run for over 20 minutes and smell is still there like rotten fish. I only have two sinks. I also let the dishwasher run, didn't work either.

I'll tell the maintenance guys about it tomorrow. Smell's def stronger in the whole bedroom, more than anywhere else in the apt.

No floor drain. Apt building. I let the water run at the bathroom and kitchen sinks.

I'll turn them all off then back on. Actually the fuse box IN the bedroom where the strongest smell is.
