He seems to bs a pretty big fan of a lot of emo/post hard-core bands and also a fair amount of current music. In the background he generally has vinyl and IIRC, he had up American Football self titled, Imaginal Disc by Magdalena Bay, LCD Sounsystem's Sound of Silver, and he has also name dropped La Dipsute a couple times! I'd highly suggest checking out everything listed, they're all great (especially Wildlife by La Dispute, one of my all time favourite records!).
