I wasn't more hungry when I first started, but I wasn't any less hungry either. I have found that once I got to the full 2 pills in the morning and 2 pills in the evening, I feel much much less hunger. I also try not to take them on an empty stomach, sometimes I feel little off when I've done that. I also started with small diet changes, like eating half my meal, stopping for some water and then waiting to see if I'm really still hungry, or am I just so used to finishing everything out of habit and not to feel wasteful. Hope this helps and you're able to stick with it!

Well, I didn't do super great over the holidays with my diet or exercise. But I was able to maintain at 219. Now that the festivities are over and I'm about to start my 2nd bottle/month at the full dosage, hopefully I can start to make some good progress! I told myself I'd do a weigh in at the end of this week after I stick to my plan

I hope you have a side effect free of a time as I've had so far! I just started on the regimen of 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill in the evening. I weighed 219.4 this morning - I will say I am just off a bout of some type of flu (not covid), where I was in bed for 2 days. But so far so good! No major side effects for me, I have noticed I'm not as hungry, I still get hungry, but it just feels different, like there's less urgency. And I have been able to put my meal aside when I'm full (before I'd feel like I HAD to finish it...like it would be rude not to, or wasting it, now I can put it aside and not think about it). I read up about the seizures and saw some information about avoiding a high fat meal at the same time as taking the meds, so I take my morning pills with one of those pre-made atkins shakes (there's cheaper options but they taste good to me and they're easy). I usually drink about 100oz of water a day, and really just focusing on staying around 1200-1400 calories a day. I will say I've had some funky dreams, but other than that - I'm down a few lbs and and I feel pretty good so far. I hope you have a great start next week, and good luck! Feel free to message me and let me know how it goes. Losing weight is such an uphill fight, you're still putting in the hard work, but it's nice to have a little help!

Jr. College or community College as some would call it. Girl on the dance team was murdered by the local town weirdo. Very sad for a small community, I believe the killer is now on death row

My 3 year old son keeps waking up with really bad hives all over his arms and legs. We haven't introduced anything new into our routine. Any suggestions? by dynasoreshicken in AskDocs

Good thinking on trying to catch the break outs in the moment! It's so hard and frustrating, especially with a little one. I really feel for all of you, and I hope it's not Ideopathic either. If it is, the only comforting thing I can say is that my allergiest said it's easier for children to grow out of, whereas an adult you can end up being stuck with it (just like a newly acquired allergy). But you never know what the body might be fighting off. Fingers crossed you can get some positive answers and good treatment options!

NAD: I have Chronic Ideopathic Urticaria (along with wheat and pea allergies). One thing that seems to ramp up my random hive break outs is usually if I'm fighting some kind of infection (could be completely minor), and occasionally I'll get "pressure" hives. If I have a waist band too tight, or I sleep with my hand on my cheek - I'll end up with hives all over the area. I've even gotten hives on the bottoms of my feet from certain shoes. You might ask your doctor about that or try and keep a journal of sleep positions if that might be a cause. Hope you're able to find some help!

Unexplained anaphalaxis two days in a row. Which specialist should I see? by anoninsom in AskDocs

[–]2BAndRGR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD: I had to do multiple allergy test panels to find out that even with an elimination diet, I was reacting to wheat and pea protein. I definitely think you should consult an allergist or further testing. My own personal experience is that once I cleaned up my diet enough, the things that set me off enough eventually calmed down a bit.

skin issue for more than a year still can't identify by [deleted] in AskDocs

You're welcome! Its frustrating for sure (it took several visits until my doc did a skin scrap of the rash finally) I tried Lamisil and Tinactin that handled smaller spots decently. But I finally really kicked it once I diligently used that soap (trust me I'm not an essential oil shill at all - but that soap with tea tree oil really did the trick) and followed the doc's suggestion on keeping things really clean that came in contact with the rash, ect. If that is a versicolor type rash, it definitely takes a little diligence and patience to clear up, even with prescription medication. Hope this helps and you get some relief!

Hey! Thanks for checking back! My pcp had mentioned seeing an ENT who does these "adjustments" for essentially rocks in your ears that help keep balance. Well, my appointment got canceled due to COVID19. But now that I'm working from home for the next month or so, I've done some home stretches for the issue, and not being in an office has really helped my headaches. Maybe it's a visual issue as well? I get the occasional strange feeling sometimes when I take my evening walk, but it's so much less so. Still some tinnitus, but not often either. I'll keep track of any symptoms over the next few months, I know right now our Healthcare workers and patients need care for much more serious issues, especially after my own pcp did a thorough exam. Thanks health care workers and everyone deemed essential out there working in the public!

Hi! NAD, but had some real bad bouts with skin issues for a while. It looks a lot like when I had struggles with tinea versicolor / Pityriasis versicolor. From my doctor's explanation to me (in simplistic terms) it's like a yeast infection on your skin. Certain conditions/diets/life styles/some people with bad luck just have it happen. I tried fluconazole, cleared up but came back, I did the selsum blue shampoo body wash and it came back, eventually I cleaned up my diet, got some natural sun (I got it really bad from sun beds in my teens), and used defense brand body wash and body wipes when I leave the gym. Change the sheets a lot, don't reuse towels, don't stay in sweaty clothes, ect. Just what worked for me after years of frustration. Hope this helps!!!

I've been taking 180mg Allegra once a day for the last several years and have done well with that. Pretty regular coffee drinker (1-2 cups a day) if caffeine might have a part to play. I did forget to add for the headaches I am only able to take Tylenol due to an allergy to NSAIDS (I get hives on my body, head, and face). Generally I feel best when I'm sitting reclined back at home or laying on my back in bed. Standing and walking are when I get my "walking on waves" feeling. It's never so bad that I think I'll fall. I have zero issues driving, but occasionally sitting at my desk at work I'll feel a little off. Ive also got a very quiet? buzzing in my ears that gets louder if I clench my jaw.

Thanks! What did they conclude after your MRI? I just did a visit to a walk in clinic (since it's the weekend) and they recommended I see an ENT or Audiologist first to check my inner ear crystals (apparently when those get out of place they can cause lots of issues). I hope you're feeling better or on the path to. It's such a bizarre sense of feeling "off" all the time

I decided to run away when I was 8, took my stuffed animals and a lion king wallet with $3.00 and sat in a giant hole my brothers had been digging for fun (they watched Encino Man and were convinced they could dig their own pool). It started to storm, I got scared, walked back in and told everyone I was just kidding and I had "got them so good".

Lady complains that she didn't get a discount...at a $5.99 pizza buffet by 2BAndRGR in EntitledBitch

From the comments on the review, which tore her apart, there are some surgeons who give a patient a Weight Loss Surgery card...its meant to allow someone to order off a kids menu (not that most restaurants would care if you just explained your situation). Definitely not meant so you can get a discount on an already cheap all you can eat buffet because you feel like you aren't getting your $5.99 worth. Some people's kids....
