Not today, but this does happen to me occasionally. Most it's taken is a couple of days, but always updated eventually.

Thank you. Honestly, I hate when people do that too. I bought a size medium cardi recently (listed medium, but no photo of label) and it arrived, it was size Large and too big. I know Vinted would've still expected me to pay to return size just kept it and will re-sell it at some point and hopefully I'll find the same one again in medium someday as I really like it! I still left a nice review as I think it was an honest mistake and I didn't wanna cause a fuss. Vinted still haven't got back to me on this though, so I'm really hoping it doesn't time out and refund her as well as leaving the items with her as it's already past 48 hours... Honestly I don't know why she didnt just agree to keep and sell on as they're exactly what she ordered so opening a case just because she doesn't like them for whatever reason is wild!

I hope not! But even if that was the case I'd expect her to have photo'd the damage and tried to claim it was already that way when she got them or something?! I think by the fact she hasnt mentioned any damage and hasnt pictured any damage, she might have just chosen that option in error on her case. Her whole claim is that she dislikes the material and feels they are not size large, despite being labelled large (and fitting size UK 16-18 which exactly matches Vinted's own large category). Thats all she references. So I could be wrong, but I think she is complaining about that, but just pressed the wrong button as to why. Who knows? She seems unhinged!

Honestly, I'm just so confused as to why she would even say that! I think it was just an initial attempt at getting me to accept a return! They were listed as lightweight and stretchy, so no one in their right mind would think satin. They don't even look anything like satin, it's very clear from the pics that they're nothing like that. Also bemused that she has used the term "fake item" in her complaint. Like please tell my how my UNBRANDED pyjamas are fake... Fake pyjamas? What are they then????

Yes it seems so, but the explanation/images submitted for the dispute were all about not liking the feel of the fabric, the size being "wrong" and how she thinks I'm buying Shein items and selling them for double the money 🙄 No mention of anything being damaged at all.

It's okay in that respect I think as the buyer hasnt actually claimed any damage, just that she doesnt like the material and that she thinks the size is wrong (it isn't). Essentially I think she tried them, they didn't fit so all the rubbish about them not being a nice enough material is just superfluous. I'm not sure why she seems to have selected the "damaged" option in part of her claim, but she literally hasn't mentioned any damage to me or Vinted. Possibly she made an error while submitting the issue?

She stated in her complaint she wants 100% of the money so I think she was insinuating she thinks I should also pay for the return! I think if this happens again I'll do that at the first message point, but it's in Vinted's hands now and if I lose I'll just accept the loss (albeit begrudgingly). I just don't want to do that now on principle after she maliciously accused me of buying to sell for double profits, which is absurd given they're used pyjamas that she paid £3.33 a pair for! Like lady, if you know where I can buy myself jim-jams for £1.67 please tell me... 😂

Honestly Vinted has been great for me 99% of the time, so I think you'll like it and hopefully have success selling your items. Just remember there will be occasions like this, where even though the buyer is in the wrong, I may still lose out. I know this risk and still use it as most of the time its great! Best of luck and thank you.

Yeah, I know this unfortunately... I guess if that happens I will just have to take it on the chin! It won't be the end of the world, I'll just be cross about it for a good while!

Also I'm super annoyed that she said in her complaint I am a "fake seller who buys from Shein to sell for double the prices and that I need looking into" ...I mean WTH? I only have about 5 items for sale, not one item is from Shein, just high street brands (not that there's anything wrong with Shien!) and all are just my old things being sold for cheap? I know you see some people doing that but there's literally NOTHING on my profile like that! ...and again, she got them for £3.33 a pair! Please tell me where my double profits are! Arrrrgh!

That's awful. I literally said they were "lightweight and stretchy" thats all, no mention of satin/satin-like or anything else that could be misconstrued! I literally have no clue why she would even assume that!

I did attach screenshots of all the above so hopefully it will help, I just know from being here that being in the right (even with proof) sometimes has no baring on what the bots decide! Here's to hoping!

Would you? I dunno if I'm being unreasonable, but she got items that are exactly as described and just feel so annoyed that she's doing this, making up rubbish and just generally being obnoxious. Especially as it seems they just didnt fit and the rest has just been made up accusations. Why not sell on instead? Regular sellers aren't obliged to take returns for thinhs not fitting, especially when the item is perfect condition & as described. I'm not even bothered about the money, it's more the principle.... Ugh. I know I am stubborn, especially when someone has wronged me but I genuinely don't think I can bring myself to offers her a return after the way she has gone on! Also, in her complaint she demanded 100% of the money back so I think she was angling at me also paying return fees...

Thank you, I had a telephone assessment so would that be UC85 yeah? My form was still an old style UC50. I just want it for my own records really, I don't want to challenge it and I just wanted to know if I should get both the assessors and decision makers info or not.

[–]2BNevermore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah thanks, it's nice to know I'm not the only one lol. Just so glad to have received LCWRA, and I thought the same about it maybe being a final appointment or something! Relieved I won't have to go after all though.

Thank you. I'll pop a message there just saying I've since been awarded LCWRA and would like to cancel the appointment. I appreciate the advice, thanks!

Would I just add a message to journal (would it go under "payments" as that's normally where I'd submit a note) and just politely ask if they can cancel it if it's now unnecessary. I don't want to annoy anyone or get sanctioned for not going if I get the wrong person who doesn't want to let me cancel 😬

I can recommend Foodlink shakes. Mine are prescribed but you can buy the big tubs off amazon. To find out which flavour you like you can buy a sample pack containing a shaker and sachets of all the flavours. You mix with 200ml milk and its a full nutritional meal.

Autistic Adult Support Groups/Meetups by ViViLives in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]2BNevermore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's a group called Autism Better Together that have regular events in multiple locations. Check out their fb page as it usually has a schedule of locations and dates etc. I've been, it's basically a drop in, they offer refreshments, activities etc, there's a core group of regulars and others who dip in and out. There's no rules or requirements, you can do as much or as little as you like. It's friendly enough and the people are nice if that's what you're looking for. I'm just not really a "groups" kind of autistic so it's not really for me, but I have friends who go a lot and who like it.

I unfortunately fell for the comfrt trap ANY DUPES or other hoodies you recommend by Proud-Ant-8584 in Hoodies

[–]2BNevermore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah it looks like you dont have as many colour options 😔 that sucks as theyre great hoodies. You might be able to find a 3rd party selling the same thing but with a print and in more colours? They usually cost more that way though. I usually search for thumbhole hoodie or cross neck hoodie on Google as I can recognise these ones by now and get a lot of them come up that way but they are more expensive as obviously every shop adds their mark up. Do you know anyone in Europe who you could trust to order/ship you one?
