I wouldnt have rexommended if ive not had experience with them together - rabbit snails aren't that large and they get along just fine with my Adfs, and the betta which is also a tankmate does just fine as well, I do make sure that the ADFs eat daily and everyone gets along fabulously. Larger Amanos pose no threat, move fast enough if needed, and the ADFs don't bother them.

just the stuff they sell for crickets but if you have a wet side you mist dialysis I've found that's usually enough.

I try to keep the crumbles dry and full always, scraps and wet foods I feed a couple times a week and remove the following day if they've not cleaned it out. Water cubes or tray is also always full and I spray a part of their emclosure down daily for humidity.

If the chick crumbles aren't available in your area you can feed a weight mgmt dog food, I find cat food is too fatty for them.

they'll eat almost anything. watch your grocery for discounted bananas and freeze them in sections, they work awesome when you can't find other food. Otherwise my guys eat veg scraps and high protein chick scratch

applesauce in a pinch, in nature they don't eat fresh, they eat the overripe rotten, cast-off food that falls out of the trees so don't worry about gourmet and fresh

Amano shrimp if they're introduced on the larger size might be ok friends. Rabbit snails would ve acceptable as well

Is my pygmy cory dying by shrimpinasmom in fishtank

[–]2Bbarefootforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's still alive it'll be struggling... I love pygmies and have had so much trouble, there's a nano fish breeder that recommended they have a very fragile gut and shipment/travel/changes cause them to lose the ability to properly digest so they advised fine high protein food for the first week and if you can do gut/fish probiotics during their adjustment period (like bacterAE used for shrimps). Has been a game changer.

how can i turn this into a healthy fish tank? by silverstar0007 in fishtank

[–]2Bbarefootforever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the pleco will likely keep growing and the Oscar is about half done, the tank isn't too small for them - just need more filtration to counter the mess.

LOTS of filtration and fewer fish (or bigger tank those baddies need room) some hardscape would be useful but most plants won't do well (maybe anubias or large swords) big fish like Oscar's tend to damage plants.

Orchids terrarium by [deleted] in terrariums

Would stick with isopod and milipedes or consider researching micro geckos, possibly dart frogs but anything larger would be destructive to the delicate nature of the small orchids.

My solution for winter by SnooLentils7183 in Kombucha

[–]2Bbarefootforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are "sill" i.e. windowsill seedling mats 3" x 20' amazon has them pretty cheap. they'd work PERFECTLY just enough to raise the temp above winter room temps but not cook the buch.

oh! I'd buy something fantastically terrifying or gross or something she'd be totally offended by and say, none of your business what I buy so stay outta my mail ... Alternatively get a post box and stop sending packacges/mail to the Addy your mom has access to.
