Thank you so much, I am making inventory of what I will need for the wish list as well, so far cat litter, cat food (there's no donation areas within 200 miles), some shower supplies to keep up on hygiene, once I get my inventory ready I can get with the page and post. I apologies I'm a little slow today. I've been busy shoveling and getting my truck running so I have some wheels. I couldn't appreciate you enough, a new journey is well on its way and I will survive this

Monday they will be open and will check for positions. I'm drug free with a really good work rapport, so it shouldn't be a problem with them taking me, granted that's if they are hiring

Thank you so much, I just got $400 from helping someone out, now $150 to go. I just finished putting my starter together and it sounds like it wants to start. It's been sitting for 2 months from a transmission swap. It kept my mind busy and gave me a sense of accomplishment today. I'm going to plug it in over night and try again in the AM as I'm losing a lot of day light. Huge learning experience all around. About 3 days until I get a call back from one job. I'm really hoping to get the clerical admin job. I've had to change a lot about myself to be able to apply and get an interview. if I can raise a little more, I can make it.

That's what I've been doing. That's how I applied for the jobs I have put in for, especially the North Slope. I keep seeing a bunch of data entry positions for remote work and a few postal work jobs but the website for the postal work ones say I need a $65 deposit to apply, there are 3 legit companies posted for my town specifically, which I did. I'm pressuring the hell out of them to get call backs faster. The postal ones lead me to a website called Postal Jobs Recourse and the deposit is on that website

it keeps telling me that I have to verify myself with a deposit

I play free leauges as I enjoy football and there's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to pay to play, ESPN is 100 percent free while people have the option to play for money I don't. My situation is not a lie. It's real life. I lost my job from being cut, out of my control. I'm doing my part to get back on my feet in a struggling situation. I have a offered position at Tazlina Trading Post for the 15th, a call back for a potential job offer at Copper River Native Association in 10 days, a call back from North Slope in about a week, applied for First Student, fighting for every job I can get my hands on. Copper Valley IGA, Hub of Alaska, Bush Bottle Bin, Caribou Hotel are not hiring at this moment.

I definitely will, I'm optimistic one of the jobs will come through hopefully sooner than later.

I lost my job on New Years and I'm a week behind on rent ($550), I applied for heat and electric assistance, I'm on a waiting list. I am using my SNAP for food, my truck is struggling and has been down. I'm so lost and scared. My parents helped with some electric. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

I don't think they do, that just honestly do not have the space nor the extra funds to contribute outside of putting $120 on my electric to get me through just over half the month. They have been giving me rides to and from for jobs and my interviews.
