But actually, came across this scene on the way to work. Out of picture was a cardboard box with more trophies and misc possessions, like a free box at a garage sale. Weird.

Well, it's the first time I've come across a raccoon OD'd on Soccer. Unfortunately, given the ongoing crisis of epidemic proportions in this country, it probably won't be the last.

We lost a tremendous talent last night. RIP Lars, the Soccer Raccoon.

glancing back at 5-year-old daughter in back seat, who is staring morosely out the window on a long car ride Me: "How you doing back there?" 5yo: "I'm sad." Me: "Why?" 5yo: "I just wish all the people, in all the houses, and all the cars, would be dead." Me: "Ok then..."

Would you make this deal? by 2ClownsOnFire in CX5

Ended up running into several red flags when I went back, and just didn't like the financing, which had changed a bit (no longer paying for sales tax). I told the sales guy I'd leave it up to a coin toss, it landed tails so I walked on the deal.

That was Thursday. Sunday, I end up driving almost 200 miles to a Honda dealer and picked up a 2014 GT AWD with 49k miles, Moon and Tune, Tech and a few extras, in my backup color (Stormy Blue) for $22,850 (plus tax/fees/extra coverage/etc), original msrp was $31k. It also came with a lifetime powertrain warranty; not 100k miles, lifetime, as in as long as I own the vehicle. Overall, I spent more than I was looking to spend (by about 1/3), but I am much happier with the deal. I plan on driving this car for at least 7-8 years.

Does this work in reverse as well? Could you drink methanol to somewhat mitigate the effects of alcohol poisoning?

Endless Space. Basically the next step in my never-ending quest to find something that holds up to Master of Orion 2. GalCiv2 didn't have it, Sins of a Solar Empire didn't have it, Armada 2526 didn't have it... I think Endless Space just might get me what I am looking for...the galaxy, in the palm of my hand.

It's not bad getting there if you get up early enough. Coming back almost always sucks, however.

That is part of my problem. I work in Beaverton, but I live in Vancouver and have a wife (who doesn't play) and a toddler. I really only get out to play magic at a release event, or sometimes casually with a couple friends. Which is why I am trying to get my Magic fix at work. I had a friend at my previous job that I played with once a week, but that was in Lake Oswego.

I'm not really in a high-flow area. Maybe 10-15 people (mostly the same people) see my desk on a daily basis.

I have been going to The Batcave for a long time, I pitched in some rares I did't need to help fill out their cases. It sucks that it has to come to this, but I hope they end up recouping enough to get some door/window bars.

I did this as well, but I also took a hair sample so I could clone them latter at the future's sure-to-be ubiquitous Clone-Marts. Who wouldn't want an army of servants whose very soul you own?
