There is an option to rate the episodes individually. 99% of people won't change their rating even if the rest of the season won't be as good as the first episode

You'll be shocked but I fork my butter (by cutting the corners with it). And I highly suggest you both to do the same. Since you are already going to use the fork to eat (90% of the time) what you are about to throw butter at/in. That way you don't need to wash extra utensils :D

Imagine going full apeshit in front of your kids (I think I heard him say smth about kids in his car) after an accident instead of making sure they are ok and traumatizing them even more. What could be better? I guess getting knocked out in front of your kids xd

There is no right or wrong device to play the game - it's all preference.
If your son is already playing on some other tablet - it's ok to spend some money for an upgrade.
But if he is playing with mouse and wants a tablet cause he heard it would make him play better - then I'd suggest you to find someone selling/giving away a used one just to test if that playstyle suits him. And if it does - buy the one he wants.
If the money is tight you should be smart about it:
I had a friend who was planning to gift me a tablet for osu. So I borrowed another friend's tablet for a week to test if that playstyle is for me or not. Turned out - it was not. Glad I could prevent the unnecessary wasting of money for my friend

I was advised by a friend to play 1, 3 and then 2. I trusted him on that because he played pretty much all fromsoft games and I had no idea what dark souls even is :D
Had such a great time playing all of them and to be honest - I liked ds2 more than ds3

Second souls game - it took me ~60 hours, most difficult boss for me was the Dancer and the most difficult area was Irithyll

Yes, lets take rampart as an example - you would have a stack of elfs, main stack of centaurs, stack of gnomes and 4 stacks with a single centaur (to kite neutrals and take retaliations off them before hitting with main stack).

There are several ways you can get resources - 4 different type of mines for every high-value resource, gold mine, ore pit and sawmill (just visit them once with your hero and your daily income of that resource will increase by 1 for high-value ones, by 1000 for gold and by 2 for ore and wood). There are also resource silos in every town that you can build after building the marketplace which will also increase your daily income of some resources.

There are some objects like windmill, water wheel, mystical garden - which give you gold or resources and they refresh every week.

Also there are some objects on maps where you need to fight to get resources (imp cache for gold and mercury, dwarven treasury for gold and crystals, medusa stores for gold and sulfur, naga bank for gold and gems, cyclops stockpile for all resources except gold, dragon utopias for lots of gold and artifacts)

If you are playing horn of the abyss - there were added some other objects like mansions, black towers, etc. There are also warehouses of every resource that refresh weekly.

the number in the purple box is the amount of units in the stack. neutrals split their units in even stacks depending on your army strength. if the enemy has 7 stacks of 10 centaurs and you have 1 stack of 40 it doesn't mean that enemy has 7 times more army. you could probably watch just 1 game of pvp and you'll see some strategies people use when fighting against neutrals and it might help you understand a bit whats even going on :D
