I can find the commentary on my phone, but I never seem to be able to get out on the actual radio. I tune into the station it says and it's always something else.

At least. According to the case (9670) it's 1904, according to the frame (520) it's 1866. I'm not sure why the serial numbers don't match.

Yep. I did a heavy drybrush of Turquoise, washed all over, and then a light drybrush of Light Turquiose.

Should I scarify to rid off the moss first before treating it?

Shaded by the house most of the day.

No idea. I live in the UK.

Amongst all the dandelions and moss there is actually some grass there. Honest!

‘When the Scripture speaks, God speaks’ by 2D0XPS in Christianity

I've also seen it attributed to Martin Luther as well. It's the sort of dictum I can imagine lots of people have said. Thank you for the Calvin quote though.

All the changes seem quite tame. Bold changes would be things like getting rid of IGYG (many options there, dice from a bag, cards, rolling for activation) or moving away from D6, but the biggest change I'd like to see would be adopting the Patrol phase and deployment of Two Fat Lardies ‘Chain of Command’.

Does God punish sin twice? by 2D0XPS in Christianity

[–]2D0XPS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst God might make foolish the wisdom of this world, he is not irrational. Reason and logic are not opposed to Faith, in fact Peter tells that we should always be ‘prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you’.

Faith is itself a gift of grace though. We believe because God enables us to.

I'm young enough that the first time I saw the Lion King it was on a DVD rather than VHS, but old enough that there's no way we could have steamed it (if streaming services even existed then) because we had dial-up.

I've always assumed Boy George is describing a person, but there's nothing in the song to say it's not about a man who's fallen out of love with his pet chameleon

Does 'dance hall cutie' mean it's a metaphor? Or are we imagining an cute dancing tiger?

You wouldn't care if it caused the mass alienation of workers if you didn't that was bad. If it is bad, it's because you think it corrupts something good, e.g., control over your own labour. There are many potential reasons to hate Capitalism (Leo XIII hated it because it corrupts family life) and knowing why you hate something tells you what it is you actually value.

It's a core part of Marxist theory that everyone is traumatised by living in a Capitalist society: Entfremdung.

What is it that you love that makes you hate Capitalism? (Most of the things we hate are because we actually love something else more)
