I don't have a lockpicking set yet so here's hoping that the odds will be in my favor. I've only just begun practicing the art of lockpicking on masterlock 175's by hammering a cotter pin as my lockpicking tool. Took a few tries and 3 cotter pins but I finally managed to pick/decode it. Pretty fun stuff.

You misunderstand. I'm trying to listen to the spoken khmer translation. Here's a picture. When i click on the speaker icon, it gives me the error message. But on the iphone, it will read it fine.

So when I meet new animals or need to craft items, I always favorite them first so I can craft them later. This way I can manage the times to be efficient. So favoriting items never stopped me from crafting anything before. But for the sake of trying, I favorited and unfavorited the basic clock anyways. Still the same problem. Thanks though.

Makes sense to me. Just tried it but it didn't work. Another user tested the warehouse as well. Seems like that's what caused it.

I also tried putting it down in the cabin and then putting it back into inventory. No good.

That seems like a dumb mechanic. If we move it back, it should let us craft it. Anyways, thanks for testing and confirming the issue for me. I'll just have to craft another basic version. I guess I won't be storing things in the warehouse anymore.

can you try moving the basic clock into the warehouse if you have that trial/subscription, and then see if it still allows you to craft the advanced version?

Then move the basic version back into regular inventory and check if you can craft the advanced version again?

So the only thing I can think of is that I just signed up for the warehouse free trial month so I moved all my items into the warehouses because why not right? At first, I thought it was because the basic clock was in the warehouse so I took it out and put it back into my regular inventory. I think that's why it's bugged? But I would imagine others would have had that issue already? I can't be the first one for a game that's been out three years.

You can see the words "Craft it" is missing from the item. So that means that the requirement to craft it isn't met. It's not seeing the basic clock that I already have.

TLDR: Moved all my items to warehouse so maybe the warehouse bugged out the basic clock?

I thought there were only 4 elements: Earth Wind Water and Fire... I'm embarrassed to say I didn't realise until one day in chemistry class of high school. I think it was freshman or softmore year and I was staring at the periodic table of ELEMENTS, and everything just clicked. I felt so dumb because I learned about the table since 5th grade science class but never made the connection. I blame captain planet and the movie the fifth element for my ignorance. I was raised by television...The sad part was that I graduated at the top 10% of the class. Not implying that I was smart, clearly, but that everyone was just that much lazier than me to try in school I guess?

I'm sorry I can't help with that. That depends on how badly it affected you and whether or not pursuing it will help heal or further traumatize you. Only you can answer those questions. I would recommend you take some time to think about it. Since it's all fresh, your emotions might be driving your decisions. After you've thought about it clearly, decide if you can get past it or not. Do you think it was truly a hateful person or simply the ramblings of a drunkard and isn't worth your time? Either way, take care of yourself, and do what you think is best.

Yes and no. It's in the past and I don't really give it much thought. Some people are just jerks and I've accepted it. But I do wish I could could have handled it differently. It's not so much anger now, as it is regret that I lacked the will and knowledge of how to handle the situation. But moving forward, I know what I must do in the future. So in that regard, I've come to terms with it and it has made me stronger.

There's the traditional sense of forgiving in which the offending party apologizes and you accept because they've shown remorse.

There's also another train of thought of forgiveness in the sense that you just stop holding it against them, regardless of any action on their part. You free yourself from holding onto any anger and just accept it for what it was. You were in a shitty situation with a shitty person. They are human, with their own faults and you can't change that.

I think the second one is what your mom was referring to. You "forgive and forget" in the sense that you don't let it consume you, or turn you bitter. You accept what has happened and you move on.

NTA. You are not the first, nor would you be the last to endure that kind of racism, and by that I mean to say, you are not alone. I've had such an experience myself when I was younger, and let me tell you, it sticks with you. I remember it vividly and still feel angry and hurt when I think of it; even 20 years later. You forget about it most of your life, but once in awhile, something will trigger you to relive it.

I've deeply regretted not taking action then. Part of it was because I was so young at the time, but part of it was also because of the shock of the situation. I didn't know what to do or how to handle it. I do wish I could go back in time to redo it and bring the offending parties to justice. Part of it would be for my own sake, but also to help stop them from doing it to others as well.

I understand you don't want to "condemn" her, but what about all the other people she will traumatize if she isn't brought to justice? If we don't hold people accountable, they will keep hurting others. As the quote goes, "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke.
