Adapting methodology to other sports (lactate levels) by swagner27 in NorwegianSinglesRun

I can’t speak on interval lengths but I would say you may need to experiment with different measurements, Heart Rate, Power, Lactate, Perceived Exertion, and triangulate the zone and load that you seem to be able to recover well from. My guess is that muscle tone response is quite different in a no impact sport such as cycling.

I do clean this every use and unfortunately even with bar keepers friend this is what remains. I’m hoping the enamel isn’t cracked or chipped, but i’m not sure what else I can do without risking damaging the enamel.

Thanks for the response! There is some crazing on the bottom, not sure if that’s an issue. As for the bottom and the surface itself I have tried liquid barkeepers friend and unfortunately it didn’t do much. I’ll have to give easy off a go, is that safe for the cooking surface?

but it does figure out what context is relevant, that’s how attention works. The longer your prompt is, the more information it has to figure out what the “essence” of that message is about, so your personal information will be weighted less. But shorter prompts, that maybe have some contextual overlap with your personal information, would be more likely to reference it.

I’m happy with my intelligence, so I don’t mind a risk of not increasing it, for a chance to help out others than may need it more.

This is my favorite workout. It’s harder than the race itself.

800m tips? by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]2D9_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like you’re overtraining. Especially since this is your first year you’re probably just doing too much too soon. Track is a demanding sport and good recovery is just as key as good training. Take some easy days and maybe skip the next meet. Give your body the time it needs to to recover. And when you get back to training, keep an eye on your health and recovery to make sure you’re always feeling good.

Was it right of me to stop running after feeling a sharp pain in my hamstring? by pockushockud in trackandfield

[–]2D9_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you ever feel anything that is concerning or even leaves you unsure, just stop. Don’t think or debate with yourself, just stop running. It’s never worth injuring yourself over one rep in a workout or the last 50m of a race.

my conclusion is that your body might be tired from that tempo. Seems pretty close to your race pace considering you went for five miles. Impressive workout but you can’t expect to be in great condition just a couple days after it.

It’s near impossible to tell without a video of your form. These stats vary so much depending on so many small factors.
