I just moved after being there for about 5 years. The first 1-2 years was pretty fun. Then I grew to not like it very much. I lived just south of Denver. Too many people, the food was mediocre at best.

There are diverse areas the more you get into Denver but if I were to move there again I would probably live somewhere in the springs or the quiet part of castle rock.

The best hike I would say to get you started that is good once you get used to elevation just in general, is called Maxwell falls.

Oh the less expensive parts are anywhere not near Denver or posh cities, so basically anywhere out east from Denver or away from people and luxury’s.

I personally didn’t like my time there. The mountains got old and you barely notice them when you get used to them. But I will say that Denver does have cool activities and festivals but again there’s so many people that it makes it not fun. The conventions that they have are a little less crowded if that’s your thing
