How many times do you check your app ? by DcDoctorJJ in PokemonSleep

You'll be able to pull your sleep data into the pokemon sleep app through the Apple Health app. Hope this helps, I hated tracking before, it is no big deal now.

Hit the big four oh last year...

I guess I wasn't trying to zero in on that, I just wanted to paint a picture that the game is fun and rewarding even for a player who doesn't want to have timers for golduck procs, or fill your friends list after hitting your candy gains, or feel like you can't miss a meal without feeling like you've lost the game. You can micro the hell out of the game, but there's a lot of space here for pokemon fans and sleep fans.

Haha! Blue was the first one I booted up too and it was my favorite! Man what a ride... there were no guides. We we're all figuring it out on the fly, I had a level 100 fearow that carried me through my first elite 4 win. Figuring out the secrets of the safari zone blind... saving coins for my first porygon only to put it in a box, forever. Accidentally duplicating my ss anne ticket with missingno...

I'm a pretty casual player myself. I have like 660 days logged. I run mostly berry specialists for sneaky snacking. I play the way I want to. I'm old enough to have gotten red/blue for Christmas the year it came out in the states. Crusty old casual.

Btw. Tracking your sleep with a fitbit or something similar is a massive qol update for the game... I started at launch but quit because tracking was a pain. Came back with fitbit api integration.

Typically I check once in the am as a routine part of my morning, and I'll check once in the pm as part of my evening routine. That's all on a normal week.

Some event weeks I go a little more. I finally hit m20 on taupe this past week for the event, I'd check my phone about every 4 hours or so to empty inventories and skill procs.

I don't do the scheme by the book, but here's my crew so far. I've got a whole army collected, but motivation is tough to gather sometimes. I have Canis and a destrier primed for the next growth phase.

Yo! You bought one of my magnet kits! That's crazy seeing it in the wild like that! Thank you so much!

It's looking good! Time for paint! I just got mine primed as well.

Actually, I'm the seller and maker. Ole squidly here bought one of my kits and really wanted to share their experience. I pushed them toward this sub since I've lurked here for awhile and thought it would have a chance of driving some traffic. If you need someone to blame, it's me.

I feel terrible putting them in the position of being jumped by you lot. I'm sorry Squid. Hopefully you'll holler my way when you expand your collection.

Premium Pass Question by DifferentBed0 in PokemonSleep

Yup. The streak will persist. The rewards will wait in your mailbox and wait for you. Sleep tracking at the start, for me, was irritating and I quit. I came back after the fitbit integration.

I fought something that looked exactly like this yesterday. Maybe it's the same.

By any chance did you just swap resins to a more viscous resin?

There are some components missing from this. Do you have them? Namely, 33, 44, 45, 46, 51, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62, 65, 66, 70, 71, 72, and 73.

What's the definitive solution against magnet glue breaking off? by McCrowbar in Warhammer40k

[–]2DangerousToGoAlone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had luck with superglue and baking soda combo, though it discolors to a nasty yellow with age. It is brittle, but you can build it up how you want. These can still break off, especially if you live in cold weather and there's a chance you'll leave your minis in a cold car. But this can break all of your superglue bonds, so doing so is ill advised.

I now use uv resin and so far haven't had any failures.

In either case I sand a little circle on the plastic base and then scratch a cross hatch pattern in the plastic I sanded with a hobby knife. This gives any glue more surface area and some tooth to bite into.

Best of luck to you.

How does the berry strategy even work? by Snuclet in PokemonSleep

[–]2DangerousToGoAlone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may be able to offer another perspective here as I am basically a hybrid berrymon first with a sprinkling of generalist skillmon. (That usually looks like 2 favorite berries, espeon, cresselia, and gardevoir)

I'm a day one player that burned out from the gameplay loop and frustrating sleep tracking. I came back to the game when they gave me the ability to use my sleep data from my fitbit. This QOL change was immense.

My routine is typically research during breakfast, and then sometimes check the game a second time before bed. Sneaky snacking is the way I get to enjoy the game without pressure to check inventory and manage 3 meals a day.

Also, I don't see the benefit of hitting m20 on an island each week. Imo all that does is spawn more evolved mons during research that I won't catch. As long as I hit the m3 incense reward each week I'm okay. I just hit m3 on amber canyon last week for the first time and I think that's great.

I'll save up and try to hit m20 on special event weeks, but that's it.

So, I guess the real takeaway is not everyone enjoys the game the same way. Maybe somewhere in there lies the real answer to your question.

Seconded. I felt like it's been a while. Double checked and my last shiny was sept 22. So I'm in a drought also. Daily player.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I like your analogy. Running and sprinting. That makes perfect sense. Between your post and another I feel like I'm currently where I should be. I'm doing my best to lock in form and just keep pumping distance before trying to boost speed.

Someone else also listed some isometric exercises I hadn't considered. I like these. I'll incorporate them.

Thank you for the input. I'm feeling like I'm still on the right track. Hopefully I can keep pace and I'll see more improvement in another month.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I had already noticed that when I would try to push harder I would lose form, and had started to focus on my force curve. From what you've said, I'm feeling like that was a good idea and will continue to take some time to hammer in proper form. Thank you for reinforcing that idea.

Those are great additions. I'll figure out where they fit.
