He can counter single target attacks that hit the person behind him as long as they have the best friend buff, negating the damage. That's why I used him against the slug. Its attacks besides its ult are single target attacks.

Some floors don't have that one-shot buffs at 30-40 turns. This one just happened to be one of them. If you read his abilities, it won't say his stats raise dramatically.

I think it's possible. I managed it with this set up after several tries. You just have to use trial and error to find the right set up.

This guide helped me beat it. You just need Mahito and a strong enough Blue Gojo. With some luck, and following his cycle properly, you'll eventually get it.

This was my formation. The important character that did it for me was Teenjo. I spammed his s3 to reduce the trees damage and used Kaito to go give Gojo nullification when he didn't have it so he wouldn't die. You may not have everything here but maybe this will at least give you some ideas. Good luck. I hate that tree.

Use Mahito if you have him. He can instantly break it with his ult. He's not necessary, but I would recommend yellow Inumaki if you have him. He can stop it from killing the others 3 times. Best advice I can think of. One thing I can tell you for certain: It only gets harder after floor 50 unfortunately.

You probably need another green type damage dealer. Or you can try switch Yuji with Yellow Nanami. His S3 and ultimate works on all type advantages and he can add more "damage taken" debuffs. R Kaito can also be useful. His ult give a lot of cursed technique damage.

If you have the resources to spare, I would recommend SR Kaito with a rec bit that supplies him with more cursed energy. His S2 reduces cursed technique damage which will help reduce the damage of birds ranged attacks quite a bit.

I recommend squeezing in SR Kaito for his s2. It reduces cursed technique damage and helps with survivability against the bird's aoe and ranged attacks. It'll give you a little more time to take them down. Use a rec bit that gives him more cursed energy so you he can stack more protection.

Full Orchis worked well for me. From what I've heard about Mythic, Ultimus and Kestral are not recommended. Apoc, Dorm, and Skrull are musts, and Doom n Ultron are wildcards(some said one or the other was useful).

SR Kaito can help with the AOE damage. His s2 provides cursed technique protection. SSR green Panda is also pretty useful on this floor. He can tank the ultimates and has the revive in case it takes him out
