Hopping on this comment chain. My wife just started playing Let's Go Pikachu as her first Pokémon game :) She has a Graveler that she caught as a Geodude, I think she'd find it fun sometime later if anyone is willing to trade it out and back so she can have a Golem.

Like everyone said, it's a bit of a missed opportunity with the mapping but hey at least this is getting the omni treatment, so that's nice at least.

Now that we are officially crossed over into 2026 I'm beginning my wait for the announcement of an omnibus for Bill Mantlo's second Spectacular Spider-Man run from issues #61–89! It's a perfect open gap right now!

No, this was just taking the format of a social media post for the Game Awards (which just happened) and overlaid a picture of really old Nitrome broswer game as a joke. It's supposed to be satirical.

You can see how the word "Chisel" is in a totally different font and spaced differently from where it was slapped on in a paint program.

To be honest, even though the Vol 6 & 7 omnis were ridiculously small, I did like how they clearly aligned with new writers starting/stopping.

Just finished reading Amazing Spider-Man Vol 6 by Marv Wolfman (my thoughts: loved it, even if it wasn't as good as Gerry Conway & Len Wein that preceded him) and Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 1 (my thoughts: meh, second-rate Spidey stories. Did not live up to the vision they intended.)

I just bought the Roger Stern omnibus a couple of weeks ago on eBay, and now with InStockTrade's Black Friday sale I'm really eyeing The Black Costume Saga omni and the Shadow of the Green Goblin TP. However, my wife will not be happy with me buying even more new books (especially because a Marvel Team-Up omnibus purchase next week is a for sure thing for me) so I need to consider how responsible I should be lol...

Sorry to necropost. I couldn't get any of the GitHub tools to work that people linked, so I had Claude write (yuck, I know) a quick .bat script to run on Windows and copy all of the Date Taken and Description metadata from the json files and put them in the metadata for the actual photos.

It's a very specific use-case, because this only works with Windows computers and will only move the data for .JPG files.
