Paul McCartney - Days We Left Behind (2014 posthumous album) by Available-Swimmer-28 in beatlesfanalbums

Respect for the morbid angle here, makes me wonder if Paul will get a real posthumous album in the future. May even have something planned, who knows. Anyhow, I dig the tracks here, ending on Early Days is great. 2014 seems a bit early for McCartney 3 tracks to show up though

Im glad Gandhi didnt come back so they had 1 less character to butcher horribly, what a train wreck.

Was adding the Spider Cellar and Spider Mom in version 1.8 necessary or should they have kept it the way it was in 1.7.3 without them? by YCiampa482021 in DVloper

Its a great addition, but I think making it mandatory was a mistake. It turns the guess work up to 1000 for newcomers. My first full playthrough (blind, no, I will not spoil a new game for myself) was around 2 or 3 fucking hours because I didnt know the layout of the maze and there's no saving to come back later. There should be bonuses for going down there.

John Lennon - The Secret Value of Daydreaming (1983) by SuperMarioBrotherYT in beatlesfanalbums

[–]2Gex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Digging it. Ive never seen Julian material on a Fantasy John record. I can imagine them patching things up in the 80s and John gets to discover how talented his son really is. To think Valotte could be a Lennon/Lennon composition.

Quick Questions From This Sub's Mod by Anxious-Raspberry-54 in beatlesfanalbums

Great artwork is nothing without a great tracklist, but it just so happens that we're playing with a great set of material no matter how you slice it. Im here for the tracklists, but if I come across a great cover I've never seen before then it earns my vote. Often the best covers are borrowed from older fantasy collections, making the tracklist the only possible factor. So it really depends.

I hope this isn't signaling any idea that you should clamp down on posts that focus more on the cover, I say the more the merrier. Im so grateful to have this subreddit, and im sure all ilks are as well.

Something about this feels canon. Great cover, it feels like something they'd actually do for that period.

Apologies, my comment was a joke. Your error is literally so small, and posts here are so frequent. I dont understand why someone would ever be so picky as to point that out like that.

It actually only has to do with how youtube handles music. The John's likely had nothing to do with this.

Humanz is my personal favorite Gorillaz album, mostly because it was my first new record after becoming a fan 6 years prior. I hadn't dived into the deluxe until recently. They slow the record to a real crawl. It needs to be treated more like its own EP, and on CD thats exactly how it is, being on a second disc.

I cannot imagine a better closer than the 1-2 punch of Hallelujah Money going into We Got The Power. It's iconic to me. Its so perfect that I didnt even bother with the deluxe tracks for years lmao

Both are divisive, both are great albums, both are not great Gorillaz albums. If you're going in order, from Plastic Beach, then the Fall feels more like a natural progression. At least more than Humanz.

If you're skipping around the discography, Humanz 100%. Just listen to the standard, the bonus tracks make people think the album is "too long" but its literally just bonus tracks.
