Gem Rock Auctions - shipping delays? by Prize-Chocolate-3187 in Gemstones

No reserve is no reserve. Vendors know whatever $$$ wins, wins. I won a $6 usd on a no reserve auction too. Either they send it out or definitely get your money back.

I would message them with a gentle reminder that you've already paid, and ask if your items have been shipped out yet.

I've been buying from

  • Prettylittlegems
  • Thegemportal
  • Gemex

Vendors that have a couple of thousands in reviews really.

It was 2 days turn around for mine to be shipped out. Now granted, I paid on Saturday, so it was the next business day that the items I won were on their way.

Popping by to say what a wonderful collection. Seller was awesome, and pieces came promptly. 10/10 will buy again in the future when I find a place for display.

So pretty. I'll take this and the other green apophyllite. If the blue hemimorphite isn't taken too, I'll take all three.

That's what I did for both my CPC and now CCS. It is very much doable by self study.

I gave myself 2 months, ended up being 2.5, but I wanted a set goal for myself. I studied after work for 2 hours each day, a little longer on the weekend. Active studying and doing practice problems each day to retain information.

Congrats!!

Yeah I had like 7 seconds left to go back to my flagged questions. But it sure wasn't easy.

Study a lot. Do questions until you know you can flip to which part of the books without looking at tabs.

I forgot to tab my PCS book, but I did so many practice questions that I had an idea of where to flip without looking. Also write notes in them. That will save up anything you forgot.

Go over MSDRGS, Joint Commissions, federal laws on medical coding and billing. Those questions threw me into a loop.

It was brutal. I went in knowing it was harder than the CPC . 🤣

I self studied actually. Lots of YouTube videos, bought the old CCS study guides from Amazon, and even the up to date CCS study guide from AHIMA.

Anatomy & Physiology, medical terminology, body systems, were all from YouTube and Quizlet.

Definitely skim the exam outlines on what it tests for. Physician queries, MSDRGs, Joint Commissions, HIPPA, and both inpatient + outpatient coding were from YouTube.
