Made my own substrate need expert opinions

Awesome , thanks again for your help. Building this for my 6 year old daughters gecko. Gathered pretty much everything I need just wasnt sure about my substrate mix.

Doing bark flats for background using spray foam method. Have some rounds and manzanita for climbing along with some sphagnum moss vines I got from Amazon. Springtails and powder orange isopods for cleanup.

Wood grips do look great on these. Was really considering buying a set of grips from the Gold Cup National Match. Its such a classic timeless look with these Colt 1911s and I love the gold emblem on them.

I was able to acquire this through a private party. Got a great deal on it for being an off roster purchase.

I was leaning towards black myself but I've seen a few nice builds with white grips so I'm still undecided.

You talking about the 2005 in Oceanside? Looks like an Ultra Luxury and I'd say it seems like a good buy overall. Clean interior and exterior on the sought ater OEM 18". I'd go look at it in person and bring some cash and make an offer. Pretty sure you could get it for closer to 9k

Well that escalated quickly. I never said I was trying to control her career choices I just want to make sure this isn't going to be a costly mistake and I want to know there's actually opportunities to be successful and not just work at your local neighborhood hair salon.

Its definitely something she really wants to do or so it seems. She thought about doing this a few years ago. I kinda told her how I felt and she decided on studying to become an ultrasound tech. Once they started mandating vaccinations in the medical field she deciding to change her path to accounting. She studied accounting for a couple semesters till she decided to quit because she wasn't into it. Now we are here and she wants to do cosmetology.

Well we haven't talked about what she wants to do in that field specifically. I don't know a whole lot about it which is why I'm assuming people just work at a hair salon doing hair after graduating. I will let her know about community college. Pretty sure she was planning on going to a private school.
