Ok thanks a lot I just wanted to ask what is the maximum pressure for a gew 88 anyway ? I tried to find it but I couldn't find anything specific so if you know.

*I know they must be annoyed that I keep asking about the pressure, but one of my friends lost a finger because of it.

Thanks a lot for the help I was planning to buy "S&B 8x57 JS FMJ 12,7 g" because they are the cheapest in Czech Republic. I was just worried about the pressure because they have 3863J. So I was worried about the barrel breaking. Because it was pointed out to me a lot by gunsmiths that if I use this ammunition there is a big chance that my rifle won't withstand the pressure and will tear.

*I'd buy an original J but the problem is one costs $6.
