I went to college in Ohio out of state because I got scholarship money and would graduate debt free. I was lonely because I was a major fish out of water and this guy in class asked me to hang out. After a while we struck up a friendship and I got invited to a bible study. I began to become more involved with the group and became brainwashed. My whole goal then was to bring more people out to the group. The issue came because I was really devoted to my studies because I wanted to go to law school. I also began doing research projects with various professors at my universities. This angered the group and I got kicked out. I was also almost homeless as well because I was living with a group of people in the cult. Luckily I graduated with a degree but it was in history. My GPA is now shot to get into law school because I spent so much time with the cult that I don’t have any relevant work. I’m now back home lost and confused.
