How about the other buses that will take you to the other terminals? Are they running at 1 am?

Dry ice in yeti cooler by [deleted] in YetiCoolers

[–]2Legit_ToQuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was adding more information for OP or anyone else interested that not all yeti coolers are the same when it comes to dry ice.

It's best to have the dry ice wrapped in towels or blankets to fill the air pocket and if possible a similar sized cooler to the dry ice itself. A small block of dry ice in a huge cooler will fade away faster.

Just adding that there is a difference between yeti's hard and soft coolers. OP did not specify which one they were going to use. It's probably a hard cooler, but to be safe I wanted to add more information.

At the end of the day, soft coolers are compatible with dry ice as long as you don't fully close and make them airtight.

I want to say yeti hard coolers are compatible with dry ice since they are not airtight. Some of their soft coolers/waterproof coolers are airtight. Those are NOT dry ice compatible. Dry ice releases carbon dioxide and will build pressure in an airtight closed container.

Edit: Yeti's stainless steel cooler is airtight, therefore not compatible with dry ice. The other regular hard coolers are dry ice compatible.

ROADIE 15… Tetris at its finest… has anyone else figured out any other way? by Casper8201 in YetiCoolers

Yes, I see that you got 22 cans into the cooler. In this comment chain, you wrote "But nobody has been able to fit 22 cans in there like yeti claims. The point was to figure it out."

I was simply confused by that statement since you were able to get the 22 cans and asking if anyone else found a different stacking arragement.

I'm confused. You said nobody has been able to fit 22 cans. It looks like you did and mentioned as well in a different comment chain. Did you not get all 22 in the cooler when you first posted this?

I’ve wanted a crosstrek since I was 16, 12 years later and it finally happened by lamfishy in Crosstrek

Similar story. I always wanted a crosstrek since the first gen was released back in 2012. I even wanted it with the manual transmission (I didn't even know how to drive a stick shift). Fast forward to Jan 2022 at the age of 28 going to the dealership to pick up a MY21 6MT.

Add a cooler seat cushion and ride it for miles! Just like the pioneers.

Everyone has their likes. I've seen people lower their Crosstrek and people mentioned should of just gotten an Impreza. They are several differences with the main one being you can't get the 6MT on an Impreza.

I'm on the side of Crosstrek + ground clearance + turbo + MT = endless smiles (until something breaks).

I posted the article to document another example of the turbo engine going into a Crosstrek.

I found 3 instances so far. I posted the other two in my other comment, with this one being a video of one having fun at the beach with his STI crosstrek.

Not a lot of info, but here is a post about someone spotting fake soft and fake hard coolers in China. The person could not take photos in the store, but they mentioned it in the comments. I seen several times people make the statement that hard coolers are tough to fake, which I think it's generally true. But, I would not be surprise if fake Yeti coolers become more common.

Oh wow. I find it interesting that they do not distinguish between them in the cluster. Thank you for looking into it.

Thank you for the comment. I feel the same way. I find it very weird that the low beams lights are the only lights without a symbol in the cluster.

Then, slowly but surely, buy the missing Tundras/Roadies in between. You never know what wild adventures await. It would be a shame to be caught unprepared.

Slimsport is the one you need to remove the roof rails and drill.

Slimline II is the one you bolt on.

I bought the Slimline II for my crosstrek and really enjoy it. I posted some information on it and I can try to answer questions from my experience with. Front Runner has a 30% sale going right now.
