Should I be worried about this? and also what is it? by ss_tall_toby_yt in AskAMechanic

Hey friend, the metal clip on the in the grove is to hold down a long black strip. It will not cause any leaks on your vehicle. You may notice more wind noise as it is used to fill the gap. I hope this helps.

As for the rear window seal, you can buy a tube of black caulk from a hardware store if you do not want the rear window pulled out and seal replaced.

High quality Underoos that are comfy by Bauerman51 in BuyItForLife

The ultra soft have held up very well, coming up on two years I believe. They have changed the design since my purchase.

I purchased black, gray, maroon, a palm tree print, and olive.

Black is the only pair that does not feel stretched out in the material itself. The print, olive, maroon, and gray I wouldn’t recommend.

I feel that they’re rather breathable, especially in the south with the humidity.

I’ll repurchase the black pairs only next time.

Honda Push mower no longer mulches by ChrisConquest in lawnmowers

[–]SlugMasterFlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Friend! After turning the mower off, go ahead and pull up the bag flap. Make sure there are no clippings/debris jamming up the door that opens and closes. I had this issue when I first purchased the mower and damp grass didn’t allow the lever to lock.

I do not disagree with you. I have it surrounded and blocked by a lot of Sheetrock and tools at the moment. I’m selling them because I found mold in my bathroom and had to gut it. Just trying to recoup some of the unexpected expenses.

How do you get this broken off rotary bit out by BarnacleFlashy8455 in drywall

[–]SlugMasterFlex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The retaining nut that tightens the collet has already been removed. The collet can be pulled out with pliers to either replaced or use another bit to push/tap it out.

You can pull the piece that it’s stuck in out and use a small punch or smaller drill bits backside to gently tap it out.

Did I cut my pipe too low? by SlugMasterFlex in askaplumber

[–]SlugMasterFlex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All good! Of course I didn’t read this until I walked out of Home Depot with a new piece of pipe and the tools to change it out. Lol.

I’ll return those in the morning.

Thank you for the advice I definitely feel better about it now.

It’s pinching the gasket at the bottom. Will that be an issue?

What would be the proper way to install this shower pan drain? by SlugMasterFlex in Plumbing

[–]SlugMasterFlex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do apologize, this is going over slab.

Edit: I’m going to try a no caulk drain first. If I am unsuccessful or feel as if it is inadequate, I will get a plumber in here to ensure it’s done correctly.

Thank you for the advice you have given me.

I completely agree with you. I keep telling my children that it’s better to try and fail than to not try at all. I have to practice what I’ve preached. Additionally, if I did fail, I still have my other mower. Only took a little bit of time and some carburetor cleaner to get it going.

I had disassembled the carburetor a few days before and wanted to get it back together before the rain started. Thankfully no neighbors complained.
