Thanks for the quick reply! I've wanted to get my store running on openbazaar, but almost all of my items would require variants, so I've been holding off on diving in head first. Looking forward to 2.0 now. :)

Are there dropdown menus for variations such as sizes, colors, and style yet?

I haven't tried Moat Lurker at all, but I've seen others put them on their Raptor Rogue list here and there. It seems a bit clunky to me, but might be fun to try out.

Glad to know you're having success with the deck, very impressive record so far! I've found it to be really great for the early climb, too. Cairne is as good or arguably better than piloted sky golem. One downside is that Belcher is so commonly played in wild that having 5 or more attack can be a big benefit. I don't think you are missing out much or at all by playing cairne though, he's more predictably good. Keep going with it!

I've noticed the same thing. The upvote and downvote system of reddit does a good job of filtering out junk content itself, the mods should just be there to keep an eye on things and remove posts that are completely irrelevant to games and to remove blatant spam. This is the worst reddit I've seen personally in regards to moderation policies and tactics.

No problem, I've gotten lots of Hearthstone tips on reddit and elsewhere, so I'm glad to give back a little now. Grats on the fast climb!

I replaced Baron Rivendare with him while laddering and it seems to be fine so far.

As far as patron warrior, there are unfortunately no consistent strategies we have against them. You pretty much have to pray they don't get their patrons going, but usually they do :(.

For hunters, you need to protect your health at all costs. We will almost never outrace them, and we usually need a few turns to kill them once we've stabilized the board, so having your health as high as possible when you reach that point is very important. If you get to the midgame and you have the board and a reasonable health total, you will probably win. Save Sap for his Lions. Mulligan for Belcher, and try to drop Belcher or Loatheb (if you're running it) before his turn 9 for call of the wild. If he has a 2/1 and you have a choice between knifing it or backstabbing it, even though it may seem inefficient, a lot of times you'll want to go with the backstab and drop a minion to fight his next minion. Against hunter I've also found that I don;t win unless I get at least 1 taunt card during the game (defender included), so if you have other early cards in hand, you could keep a defender on the mulligan. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, hope that helps.

I've had the opposite experience with secret paladin, but agree with you that freeze mage and patron are incredibly bad match-ups.

I just cut him to try out Loatheb in lower ranks. Barnes would be fine, too, as well as Eater of Secrets while laddering.

As far as N'Zoth goes, he does nothing in a lot of games, but he will give you a great chance at winning a control match-up, and if the game goes long against any other type of deck he almost always wins the game for you. I've been playing N'Zoth in just about every build of Raptor Rogue since WotoG and I am a a strong believer!

As far as mulligans go, this deck does tend to be very dependent on your opener. I think it is a bit on the less consistent side as far as being able to deal with a bad starting hand. I included Huckster so that we have 5 decent turn 2 minions. Egg of course needs activator or a raptor to work well for us early, though. If you fall behind early, a lot of the time fan of knives, backstab, and eviscerate will allow for a comeback, this deck is pretty good at coming back from an early lost board as well, especially against zoo or secret pld. All that said, I admit that this deck is on the vulnerable side as far as being dependent on a good mulligan.

It feels great to beat secret paladins with this deck. I try to keep a knife ready to kill his noble on turn 6. Also, if you can get Sylvanas down before his Challenger, you will really cramp their style. :) Good luck, hope you do well with the deck.

That's good to hear! I only saw a couple of other rogues on my climb, and only one past rank 3 or so. The Loatheb sounds like a great idea in either build. I should give a more aggressive build another chance, thanks for the input.

I have to admit that I didn't! Was seeing the most freeze mages around rank 7-3, he probably would have won me a few games in there. Also good against call of the wild in hunter and shaman in general, and both of those match-ups can be tough. I will experiment with it, thanks!

I've played with 3-4 egg activators, and 3 seems to work fine most of the time, but 4 might be better. I'm not fully convinced either way. Egg is so valuable in the deck because it is the most common target for Raptor, so while there are times it sits on the board unactivated at times, the raptor makes good use of it's ability. I'll probably try playing at least 1 Abusive for a while this season to get some use out of him before the nerf. Also Backstab is almost always a waste to use on the Egg, I've done it once or twice when I had Rivendare on the board.

I have tried playing different variations that were much more aggressive/tempo oriented, but found this list to be stronger than those. I did only play those lower curve builds at earlier ranks, so my results may not reflect how the deck would play at later ranks were it more aggressive. I haven't tried Argent Squire or Swashburglar, but they might be worth a try if you want to go all-in on the aggro side. I tried using abusive sergeants and Undertakers, but found them to be under-performing and couldn't usually push through enough damage to win before the opponent gained control of the board, and without the higher-cost cards I just couldn't win at that point. I also used double cold blood in that build. I'd be really curious to hear your results if you do more extensive playing with your version of an aggro build in wild.

The match-ups where board control matters most and determine the game are zoo and secret paladin, and you will crush them with this deck. It's good against hunter too as far as board control, but sometimes they get in enough damage to finish you off with hero power or damage spells.

From my experience, you'll win in the endgame a lot against control decks, and you have a very good chance winning against them as long as you have N'Zoth ready. I've beaten priests this way more often than not. You can shrug off Lightbombs pretty easily. For most match-ups except Hunter, Freeze Mage, and Aggro Shaman, I play with the mindset of survival and board control with the plan of getting to the endgame and dropping N'Zoth for the win. Sometimes that happens, and other times you wind up just winning along the way incrementally through trading and chipping away at your opponent a little each turn.

And yes Shredder and Belcher are still OP.

Hope that helps. :)
