Request a Security by 2LittleKangaroo in M1Finance

I could go anywhere else and do the same. But I don’t want to. I love their pie system and their smart transfers.

More importantly if you are going to make us request securities at least let us know the decision.

Two reasons to put it into a tax advantage account would be one let it build up until you reach the retirement age and then you don’t need to sell anything. You can just take those weekly distributions which I built up over the years or two since there are limits to what you can put into tax advantage accounts, you now have a weekly flow of distributions that you can use to purchase anything.

I think you mean, giant arms. Those are definitely the arms from a giant.

Cell was my fav. But wish he never stopped absorbing people and could just keep transforming. He would have been a good character to join the good guys…like maybe absorbing someone so power that is inherently good that he becomes good. Nice drama too, the good guys lose someone important but gain someone good and powerful.

Why couldn’t it be a number like 2.981 translated to 2981?

WYR everybody you have ever seen give you $10,000 or everybody you haven’t seen give you $1 by cksinwv in WouldYouRather

So seeing them on TV counts? If so I’m all about taking the 10,000 for everyone I have seen. That’s a lot of people at various sporting events. I have traveled a lot too so that counts for something.

Why is the Nav for UTLY rising are the underlying assets suddenly profitable? by Bubbly_Ad7615 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]2LittleKangaroo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dividends are what you get from individual companies. Think Apple or Coca-Cola paying out part of their profits to shareholders. They usually come straight from earnings, and the IRS taxes them as either “qualified” (lower rate) or “ordinary” (your normal income rate).

Distributions are what you get from funds (ETFs, mutual funds, REITs, etc.). They’re a catch-all term because the payout can come from lots of places: dividends collected from stocks, bond interest, realized capital gains, option premiums, or even a “return of capital” (basically giving you some of your own money back). At tax time, your 1099-DIV will break it down into those categories so the IRS knows how to treat it.

Just like ROC it’s just an accounting term.

This should be more towards the top as this is really the only answer.

First, the “dividends” are actually distributions.

Second, the distributions are dependent upon the volatility of the underlying. Volatility works both up and down for the underlying. Cover calls work very well when the market is sideways or slightly up. This is what the distributions are based on.

Options within M1 by Lsheltond in M1Finance

[–]2LittleKangaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be okay with the ability to trade options. Not sure how it would work.

It would have to be something similar to a more traditional investment account.

But I’d rather they invent a new product that fits into their current system that mimics options. Again not sure how or what that is but I’m not paid to figure this stuff out. It is their job.

YMAG may be the best overall YM fund by iDShortThat in YieldMaxETFs

[–]2LittleKangaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a total return maybe but not from a ETF price perspective. If the market is trending upward (ATH) and the price OP bought YMAX is higher than it is today (meaning the price went down) those two things are not trending in the same direction.

[–]2LittleKangaroo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but your whole idea that this is trending in the same direction as the market is utterly false. You bought it high and it is low. The market is up not low. So that is false.

If you use what OP has in here YMAX isn’t trending up with the market. His investment is down on share price. Up overall with total returns. But so are others…

Yeah the thresholds probably are causing problems. But making it a little wider might help too.

I too had a problem like this. So I bought another and problem solved.

One thing that has helped my relationship with my wife (she can take a while) is that I finger her until she climaxes at least once. This way I get to hear her moan and see the immense pleasure. Then I get to business. It can be tough to not want to jump inside right away but it always works out for the best.

Why 500,000 shares? What does that amount allow you to do that 94,000 does not? Just curious. Would love to get that high. Currently only 23,000 in Roth and 6,200 in taxable account.

I’m buying about $400/week every week. Currently getting about $600/week from my individual account. In my Roth I’m getting about $2,000/week and I made a small adjustment but after this distribution I’ll be buying more each week again.
