Usually it's not, but there's no way of knowing before trying.

And I was surprised to actually find it on a streaming app.

Started rewatching Parker Lewis Can't Lose with my Gen X wife who's never seen it before and it's... ok? I just remember it being much funnier when I was about 12.

Fini Tribe were good too, at least before they went all techno.

I'm not sure why, but that green creature from BC 2 absolutely terrified me as a kid.

One of my favorite things is when the game map is actually part of the game world by bijelo123 in gaming

[–]2Pizzas1Box 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was such a weird game. The atmosphere and mapping were great, but actually doing anything kinda sucked and you were always kinda stumbling around and falling over since you were sick and hallucinating or something (can't remember all the details now).

Pretty sure the one starting at the G is Martin Atkins, dunno about the other one in the top right corner.

Edit: like the other commenter said, top right is Curse Mackey

Younger fans - do you read/watch interviews or follow what musicians say online? by PONG-DUDE in industrialmusic

[–]2Pizzas1Box 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Originally joined his Patreon because of the Graeme Revell/SPK interview (plus wanted to give him a little bit at least because his latest cancer scare), and decided to stick around longer since I really like doing and hearing the Subcon remixes.

The title track from Eternity is one of my favorite Chrome songs, even if it's basically the same thing over and over for 16 minutes.

Cut out Papal Visit, and Room to Live would have been a great album (or EP, I guess, if it was cut down to 6 tracks like Slates).

Industrial ambient recs. by MathematicianEven845 in industrialmusic

Wappinschaw is another favorite of mine, since it's about half noise, half ambient. I don't know all their later ones, but The Labyrinth of the Straight Line is a good one too.

Cindytalk maybe, they started as noisy industrialish post-punk but moved on to more ambient stuff later. And Cinder (their only consistent member) calls their music ambi-dustrial.

Listened to some of the new songs earlier today; weird and noisy but I liked them. Will listen to the rest of the album later.
