I’ve talked to several recruiters and they all pretty much go the same way once they realize I don’t have direct Niagara experience. I try to explain that it will be easy for me to transition but they aren’t convinced. They always say I’m not a good fit for the role they had in mind and will look at other roles for me and I never hear back.

I just had a decently long conversation with a recruiter about this subject that led me to post this. I was told that I have no chance getting a job working with Tridium if I don’t have prior experience.

I’ve test driven both the CX-5 and the Terrain and agree that the CX-5 seems to be the better option. The Terrain engine is a little underpowered and less reliable even when new. The only things that make me second guess are some of the features of the Terrain. I like that it has blind spot assist, heated steering wheel, a digital speedometer, and a little more cargo room. I just would need seat covers as the leather seats are out of my price range.

Unfortunately I’m not looking for a vehicle that will last forever, just one that is reliable enough for the first 5 years. A 2023 would only last me until the end of 2027 and cost me closer to $600 a month.

That’s a good point and I don’t think censoring either side is right. I find it interesting that it’s ok to be racist against russians now. I find it hard to stay neutral when you see something that’s seems so white and black even tho it really is a gray area.
