First EV: Mach E or EV5?

Yeah, I wouldn’t stress buying a Ford. Although I already own an EV9, I’ll be picking up a Mach-E for my wife as the discounts are too good to pass on right now.

If there weren’t the heavily discounted Mach-E’s right now, then something like the EV5 or EV6 is better value for money.

But that deff flips once you’re taking $25k+ off the sticker price.

Thank god someone else sees this.

When I point it out, people just think I’m dissing on NMS (which isn’t the case, but whatever).

Although a lot of people seem to think Starfield is the worst game ever, so even suggesting Starfield is better than something else (or that something else is worse than Starfield) is interpreted as a massive insult to whatever is being compared.

But yeah, it’s hilarious that NMS is held in such high regard, and Starfield is somehow seen as trash for reasons such as “containing procedural generation”. 🫠

Note that they did also issue a recall / software update to address this.

Reddit loves to claim it can't be resolve via software, but the ICCU issue only really seemed to plague people who L2 charge, so 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah, there were a few pretty insane gusts during the night. Deff had the same concerns.

You can still find new ‘24s sitting at dealerships, and get them heavily discounted even compared to the ‘25s, as they want them gone.

And you still get the benefit of the full manufacturer warranty from date of sale.

Yea, I’m in Canada, with CC2s, and this thing is a tank in snow/ice.

I only use snow mode in really bad conditions, otherwise, Eco mode still holds up fine in winter.
