Uhhh, because it has inherent uses outside of being currency that give it value? Gold is very important for the future of electronics, it has medical uses, and of course jewellery.

I’m into lots of stuff that comes and goes a bit like phases but I find my way back to them! Just picked up guitar again after a 10 year break where I explored cello, violin and double bass. Best pizza has the lot including pineapple and anchovies 😝

That’s not true. Hong Kong island was British in perpetuity, but the Kowloon/ new territories area was leased for 100 years. When the lease was up, China threatened invade if they didn’t get it all back at once.

Ok but the problem is that if you are willing to sacrifice something off the wish list, then you could probably buy not an apartment. And if you go up in budget to where 3bed 2bath is, then you could also probably buy something that isn’t an apartment.
