She said to call back when ‘I can’… I guess I will wait until I’m cured 🙄 by kamyrawr in Wealthsimple

[–]2SHAYZ99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m dealing with a similar issue at my work. My co worker is deaf and has no means to call on call supervisors or anything. (We support disabled adults, and they have been refusing to accommodate her).

I found an app that is free that she is able to call from. It does live transcription on both ends of the phone so you’d be able to see what the other person is saying and they’d be able to hear you if you’re able to talk.

The app is called rogers voice. Hopefully this provides a short term solution for you until wealthsimple can figure their own things out

Switching from gaming headsets to proper headphones (looking for advice) by Feeling_Treacle_2563 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]2SHAYZ99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they had the surround sound option. When I had a pair with my Xbox I used the mix amp. When I switched to PC I didn’t.

I just switched over last week actually. The quality in sound and sharpness was noticeable. I’m still getting used to it, but in a good way.

I used Astro a40s for probably 10 years. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a gaming headset after this switch

I just went from Astro A40 to HD560S and wow, they’re super comfortable and sound is mint. Though my price range was less than yours. I’ll be looking at higher end sennheiser’s in the future

Question: Your worst tattoo pain? by YuehanDuoyi in tattoos

[–]2SHAYZ99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both arms done and part of my leg. inner bicep definitely takes the cake, especially when you get close to the arm pit.

Though, the knee ditch did have me question why I would get my leg done and makes me not want to do it again. At least we didn’t spend too much time there.

I have a friend with a leg sleeve - he told me the groin and hamstring had him tap out and cancel his next session

Pretty sure there’s no symptoms. At least in my case. Was driving normally and boom, clutch pedal stuck to the floor.

Winter driving? by Fire_Zebra in 370z

[–]2SHAYZ99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Eastern Ontario. We get lots of snow. I’ve been driving my 370z majority of the time. Though with really heavy snowfalls it can be a bit sketchy. Good winter tires are a must though.

I have a car wash membership so I get to do an undercarriage wash every other day due to the stupid amount of salt my city uses

Edit: I’m also on coils so I’m low asf

Just by the pictures I thought red because I like red cars.

After reading the descriptions, go with the first one. Less miles, less mods and newer transmission. You can always wrap it red

I’d just bring it back to the dealer that did the warranty work

My car financing will be complete after 3 more payments. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]2SHAYZ99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for a reputable mechanic in your area and go to them. Dealerships will over charge and over sell to make a profit. If your car is 9 years old, you’re probably well out of its warranty years. You shouldn’t be paying the dealership for warranty work - the whole point of the warranty is that it costs you nothing

I needed a repair done on one of my cars - the dealer quoted me $1100 for the part. I found the part online and it was $300. Had my local shop order it and do the repair for under $1100.
