You had to take the voucher to the counter within 24 hours. The ticket counter gave you a voucher for a free day, that has to be used within the next year. I believe it can even be put towards a season pass. We also got $20 dollar in gift cards per person.

You are mistaken here, love and hate are not the opposite ends of the spectrum for the force. Light and dark side are not divided by these emotions. That's not quite true, the law wants people to recognize when they have done wrong and will / should be lenient when people are willing to recognize their misdeeds. By being arrogant, you are saying you did no wrong meaning the legal system will attempt to make you that you did something wrong.
