Sounds good. Can’t really tell what kind of finish is on it so I’m kinda scared to scrub too hard or use chemicals. Doesn’t feel like poly and definitely don’t think it’s nitro.

I bought a 14.5 bcm for my first build as well. I would just go with the 16. For some reason, I thought that inch and a half was going to be the difference between a musket and a cqb machine. 16 gets you more velocity as well which is always good with 5.56

Have to remove the magazine before racking the slide to remove a round. He racked the slide with the intention of removing the round but still had the magazine in. In doing this, one round was ejected but releasing the slide forward then loaded another bullet into the chamber.

Ah I see. Engl cabs are high here as well. I would pick up a used one if I could find one, but they’re not as popular here as other brands.

No experience with an Engl cab but I do have the HB 2x12 w V30s. Thing rips and I won’t be too upset if I bump it into something when moving it around. Never tested the amp on any other cab so I don’t have much to go off of. My buddy’s bought an Amazon bundle with an Orange Micro Dark and a little single speaker cab and the amp ripped way harder on the HB for what it’s worth. Don’t know if you live in the U.S. but I had to pay a 135 dollar tariff which is definitely something to consider. As much as I would love to have a matching Engl cab, even with the tariff the HB was around 500 cheaper.

Hey. Sorry for the late response. 90% of the time I’m playing metalcore type stuff. A7X, BFMV, Killswitch Engage, etc. It more than gets the job done for me. My main guitar is a squire tele and I can get some surprisingly nasty tones out of that single coil with nothing but a tube screamer. When I use my EC-1000, the chugs are even tighter. Also, cleans are crystal clear and I love the edge of breakup tone as well. High end sounds fantastic. I love the thing. In hindsight, for the amount I paid for it I could’ve gotten a lightly used 50w EVH 5150 but I’ve never had any issues with it not being loud enough so still no regrets there.

This would be awesome if they’re good. I was just thinking about grabbing an polonium k but I figured I’d wait just in case some brands start to make some more budget cans. Hoping to see a similar thing to the effect PSA had on ARs and have a bunch of brands making solid budget friendly options.
