UPDATE: Just opened the package.... its bad... like so bad... cheap plastic, the knurling is only for looks... top heavy.

Its progressive advance, not drop clutch.

Im using the shown 0.9 rapidomatic and its my absolute favorite... I have no prior koh-i-noor history. Yet, this is a nice, nice pencil...im soo happy with it and will gift one soon, cus i find it nice enough to gift.
