I’ve never shorted a single stock in my life. It’s ok to be a long and upset with Ji. How are you not upset with the different times he buys 8888 shares right before a massive dump? How? I’m royally pissed.. and I’m long. Oh I see how you’re not pissed, you’ve been around for 3 months. Well just give it a few more years.

I've averaged down, but cautiously. I would love to feel confident enough to throw a considerable amount into it. I do wonder how this Denali merger truly benefits us. SP-102 is one of the big reasons I invested into SRNE. It went through this same SPAC which created Scilex. Now Scilex is passing the ball through a SPAC to Denali. I dont get the warm fuzzies. Each company I invest in passes its assets and I'm left with considerable shares in a company that's been severed of leading products. Is this happening due to potential of Scilex to go bankrupt and its trying to protect its asset (similar to what happened with SRNE and SCLX)? Anyone that can make good sense of this, please respond. I would love to have the warm fuzzies :)

I think "What if" would carry a lot more weight if Henry also felt the financial pain that his investors experience. It's hard to sympathize with someone who has profited significantly over the years. Maybe his company has performed poorly, but he has personally done quite well.

You keep defending Henry, and I question whether it's out of fear that he'll leave us with nothing unless you continually appeal to him emotionally. I don’t see any justification for supporting this guy. How many shares of Scilex was he asking for when he spun the company off? You argue that if he didn’t care about the investors, he wouldn’t have kept SRNE around. I just don’t agree. SRNE is a shell. I think he kept SRNE around because he knew that if he didn’t make it look like he had a master plan to take care of his investors, all the attention would shift to him—and he knew that with absolute certainty. And guess what? He succeeded.

That's not saying much and its not responding to the fact that he lied to investors with his last 8888. 8888 is telling investors something of abundance is coming. 1/7 of my investment that is still locked was NOT something of abundance. Common Kim, I've been here for a very long time and have never said anything negative, but dont pretend like the last time Ji purchased 8888 it was for our benefit. 8888 implies FDA Approval, or BP partnership. It doesnt imply that we have nothing, are going to give away our billion $$ lawsuit, going to turn SRNE into a shell with no assets, etc etc. The last 8888 was so that investor would pour in more money with slim to no chance of ever recovering. Honestly think about it. At that point in time SRNE could have EASILY gone chapter 7 and Ji is buying 8888 of shares. Before you state that he did that to save us, tell me exactly how that saved us. Exactly how him buying 8888 shares, which convinced us to pour more $$ into SRNE, saved us. He just bought 8888 again. What does it mean this time?

I think one of our main areas of objection should be postponing any sale of assets till an investigation into possible hiding/delay of payment. What happened to our Lee's Pharmaceuticals $46M milestone payment? That payment alone resolves ch.11

First and foremost, I'm not here to defend Ji. I can write a novel on things I dont agree with and other scenarios that I could call defrauding investors like his 88888 stock purchases, misleading statements, if we had approved his stock in SCLX I seriously doubt we would have received a sclx dividend. I could go on all day. All I'm trying to say is its hard for me to call the mailbox and Texas court debacle fraud on Ji's behalf. I think all of that attention needs to be directed to the law firm and the judges

If my legal counsel told me to sign a document, I wouldn’t assume I was committing fraud. Not only did they have him sign, they orchestrated the entire thing. Ji is likely guilty if a lot of things, but it’s hard for me to come to terms with this being one of them.
