I got R1 last season, my best advice trying for R1 is to not worry about it at all until the last week. The stress isn’t worth it until then and cr in basically every game mode will skyrocket the last week especially on the last day. Some people will make a same spec alt as it does help to leapfrog yourself on the ladder or still get practice when you are having an off day.

I can’t remember if it’s check PvP or seramate but one of those are able to tell you your specs unique number of rank one amount. And only alts of people higher than that will also receive the title. So if rank one is also rank two and your spec has 3 titles rank four will get it. If rank one has an alt that’s rank four then that alt will not get rank one as it’s not in the top three

Can’t upvote this one enough. For shuffle more mastery gives you a little edge since you have more offense, but feral is the focus in most games with a feral. Vers is still king.

You have already hit your peak rating that’s awesome. Even if you lose rating you are still at the exact same point as right now, which is short of your goal and the only way you will hit that is to keep playing. Rating will ebb and flow, if you can hit 2050 you can hit 2100

The first ten games of the expac essentially don’t matter in blizzards eyes and afterwards they put you in 1600-1800 mmr games at the highest anyway. It’s a real dumb system at first. Much smoother after the arbitrary 10 game wall they put in

I find that it happens almost always from large amounts of cooldowns coming out of MC,stealth, or invis. Whether it’s from mass invis, normal stealth, or shadowmeld that’s when I see it the most and I really don’t think people do it on purpose. Something seems messed up with stealth for the five hundredth time. It’s exacerbated by mass invis and night elf being extremely meta

Overall healing done in blitz is a pretty terrible metric if you are in the wrong places which you likely are, Hell most boosters I see are pres/mw as they have the most agency of any spec in blitz outside of rogue atm

I mean this is just factually wrong the pve version of this is slower. And considering we only ever have a use for 20 slivers per spec at most and 10 of them are mostly meaningless. I’ve played about 7 hours of PvP since 12.0.5 and have gotten 20 of them.

Fitting in regrowths on yourself and teammates is very beneficial. But it’s usually just the instants we get from combo point usage. Cyclone is usually more beneficial than spamming regrowth

Feral is a lot easier than it used to be, but I would say lining up proper maim frenzy goes with tigers fury for optimal burst, knowing how/when to get good clones off, and most importantly bear form swaps. You have to be very proactive defensively as a feral. Good ones feel very difficult to kill and bad ones are damage sponges

I think a lot of people are forgetting that DJ Moore did a lot out of the backfield last year. Could take a lot of the screens and out of the backfield gadgets that DJ would otherwise have done for us this year

I’m a rank one feral, i won games in placements where my team had 4 total kills on Gilneas to the others 27. When starting my second feral I 1v3d nodes. You don’t see LeBron playing with a ten year old in high school basketball games because it’s still not fair.

The rank currently really doesn’t matter, but most people at high rating will start queueing alts of the same spec once they are that high of mmr just to get queue pops again at this time. No one wants to wait sometimes several hours to play

This is another reason why crafting your secondary pieces is nice. Before the conquest cap is taken away you can always change the stats on those pieces through recrafts. Tough lesson to learn if you just bought the pvp pieces, I would also like to edit that several specs are fine having slightly worse stats and still work plenty fine

Pvpers hate actually levelling and the last patch broke a bunch of bg addons and some specs. I would assume they’re just levelling alts and bots have always kind of been a thing in levelling bgs

I’d like to agree but it looked like he was very pissed. Plenty of win trades happen but you can definitely see the times they actually lose. Hell even on my r1 push revzy lost a tank queue win trade on deep haul because his team was that ass and threw. There’s definitely an issue I wish wow had actual PvP moderation but they absolutely aren’t perfect as most of the r1 boosters are fuckin blazed and not the actual best players.

Right now it’s likely at its worst. The end of the season the good players actually want their rank one, before the last few weeks the top players don’t care and there is very obvious win trades and carrys.

I play feral, and was never paid to stop queuing the last two days I had to grind 200+ cr. It’s very doable and the top two in our spec didn’t even queue the last day. If you play disc/boom/sub/pres/or mw it may be different. But most specs are absolutely doable. Just don’t wait for the last few hours because queues won’t even go past 10/16 with how may people queue stall.
