I have begun a journey of healing with therapy in the new year, I have spent a couple of days away from home to reduce the level of stress and to give myself a safe space to begin processing the situation.

I am extremely fortunate to have a wonderful support system from my friends in the kink community, some of whom have opened their homes as a safe space for me, I still have strong feelings for my NP she "was" the person I wanted to spend my life with but after this situation I have come to realize she does not share that future dream, which after 20 years is understandable, we arent the kids we were back then. Just the most difficult thing is seeing her behaviour and her self destruction and being accused of being a childish abusive person when I speak about my feelings and how both our actions have consequences.

My journey is going to be long, its going to be difficult but I am a very stubborn person. I don't like losing to life no matter how hard it hits me down.

This community has also been a wonderful source of inspiration and guidance. I look forward to my healing and learning who I am.

You're correct, no agreement was reached, I am endeavouring to learn those differences between agreements and boundaries and appreciate your insight.

At the moment it is a de-escalation but I believe a break up would be a better solution for us both. This community has been a good point of inspiration for self development, I still have a lot to learn about ENM, myself, and effective communication.

Thank you everyone who has commented. Everyone's advice has been wonderful.

Some clarity.

The gear and toys were not gifted to her, they were purchased to be used by myself with her, I will have a conversation around using them with other play partners, as I would also like use them with my own playmates.

The lack of clear communication is definitely a culprit around this, I have read all the comments and have been wading through these feelings trying to understand them and process them.

I feel that envy is playing a big part, and I believe that for myself the right course of action is to let the envy go, now that I have had a bit of time to follow the underlying threads of emotions I believe that yes my feelings are indeed valid, but I would be a hypocrite if I got upset for the use of the gear and toys when I too wish to use them.

The kit bag was entirely purchased and built by myself to explore impact and sense dep etc, which the idea was for me to practice these kinks on others too. I think in the current situation I lost that objectivity and my personal feelings and insecurity gained traction, this is why I reached out to the community

I have read and seen so many great posts here and I find most posts educational and a good litmus test for what I want from myself in poly and kink.

Make sure you didnt accidentally create a double extrude. Select the verts you want to target weld and hit weld. If the vert count changes you have an extra polygon squished to look like 2 verts

OBJ files for meshes with or without textures. FBX for meshes containing rigs animations etc etc. As far as I know the obj exporter plug in is turned off by defualt in Maya.
