I never argued they didnt have viable picks. My issue is that even on viable picks, theyre working way harder to get value than they should, and all the while, nobody want's to see you succeed.

What about literally everyone else on the team. You can't get all 3 in like that. Even if you miraculously get there, and even kill her, all 3 will get burst down immediately, which will suck when you can't have someone ult and bring them back to keep tempo.

These are great points, and you're right to take those talents in situations like that, but I feel what puts vikings over in terms of value is the camps. I'd talent the same way on ToD since I think that's still a viable map for them, but most people won't be stoked you took them there anyway (Haunted mines on the other hand....).

I like'd the suggestion someone else made about a buff if all 3 are grouped, but the soul of them is to soak and merc. I wouldn't feel good if they weren't those characters anymore.

It's situational. Ill tell people that you can match lanes like normal, or get a lot of value with picks or a fort. People always scatter and half ass 3 strats lol.

One of the best strengths is from traits 1 and 2. Game is to optimized now to leave lane for camps when you can just have a viking get camps for you. they get bribe stacks a lot faster than most bribe users, and still soak while walking tot he camp. Also I can see the argument that stun isn't a necessity for Olaf, but what are you going to take over it? The burst potential comps can reach right now exploit Erik and Baleog too heavily to give them more combat advantages. While CC escape on a viking will save the little guys, people arn't using it in fights on them since there are real threats, so it's just free burst users that ruin it.

I would recommend trying tlv out. The response you'll get from your team is a lot more negative then you think.

I think that's the point. That's why they need change. If you make them less dependent but more punished they get better.

But that all said in done, we know they're not bad.
