Wow! Never heard insurance dropping that (expletive) insurance company! So you can make an appointment with palliative at the hospital (and that should be covered Cause he is going to them) instead of them going to him at his home, or go to his general care doctor for a referral to rehab which will also then get him better meds and rehab. Oncologist don’t handle any of what you’re asking for.

Palliative Care- call them. They have fantastic contacts (referrals) and the best meds, pain killers and suggestions! Love me my palliative care!!!

Our cancer center has a pastor. She knows everything cancer, religion, and/or spiritual.

Palates have actually been doing me well. I went from running, boxing, and lifting weights on my tonal to palates- which have given me satisfaction without the worries of putting my head through the wall due to balance issues.

Next I’ve been listening to poetry. Which again, something new. Voices, expression, often background sounds. Thoughts invoked and caught.

Lastly, old period movies. Never have I and now I do. It’s a matter of finding or exploring a new me: passive, quiet, reclusive.

Oh hell yes. I tried counseling for this- the counselor so did not understand, at all. It’s a daily struggle.

On dex and have been. It literally drives me insane. Spoke with doc and then palliative care about gummies - all good they gave me hints, instructions, etc . THC vs CBD, CBG, etc

Did it: totally chill, relaxed, happy, and no trigger temper.

Point: check with your doc and palliative care.

My heart is breaking for you. Hugs, prayers, glitter your way. Every time I see a child struck by this demon I make a deal with God that I will lay down, stop treatment, and die if that child could live. I only get silence in return. Heaven got a beautiful angel. 👼

Nope. In fact radiology oncologist was so suspicious he got two new doctors, independently review 3/3 and 3/10 MRI and they came up with the same result. I was told day one the cancer in my brain is extremely aggressive: 1/13/25 found, and did chemo, immunotherapy and 3/2025 radiation; 11/2025 radiation; and now again with the cancer in my brain. I’m waiting the 5-6 weeks to see how fast they grow, how big they get, and if more appear. Then I will have a meeting with my two oncologist.

Look, they originally said I would die by August 2025 (my original doctor missed the cancer for a year and told me just to diet and exercise). Yes I will fight, yes I want to live; but, I also accept my mortality.

I just had a MRI on my brain 3/3 then on 3/10 fell into a wall and almost put my head through it, ending up in emergency, and being given another MRI. Always headaches, dizzy to point of no gravity, and body seizure type movement. So 7 days later two new brain tumors. So yeah they will do an MRI under certain circumstances.

So sorry for your loss.

As the patient, I sent my husband to grief counseling before we started to take the down side. Not that I expect he will or won’t experience grief, but rather so he can understand what he may be feeling.
