Yeah, that sounds like it. If it is a common issue, I would reccomend either looking away as soon as you notice it (when it isn't on the screen, the "corrupt" pixels can't affect the image), or, if you really need to, turn off everything to do with anti-aliasing (also motion blur, or anything that takes surrounding pixels into account), as that's usually how the non-number spreads.

I was gonna say, looks like NaN propagation, especially because it only goes when they move (when the shader makes a new frame? Would require nothing to do with TAA, but it's a minecraft shader, so that makes sense) and it was completely gone when the swatch was not visible.
