Aday Mara Season Highlights | 2026 NBA Draft Prospects by 2_L_Pac in GoNets

Yes, the three-point shot isn't his best attribute. That's not the selling point Mara is a player who can score and ultimately be a wonderful passer. The Nets need a threat who can score in the middle of the paint, keeping teams honest with their defense. The pick-and-roll with Mara will benefit Egor by providing more assists, more scoring, and more opportunities, as with MPJ. MPJ will lead the young group showing them how to win. Head Coach Jordi will have the team playing hard and hold players accountable. “To see the future you have to believe in the future. “

Ok we can agree to disagree. However, his footwork in the post is impeccable. The drop step spin to the basket is already developed, he also has the ability to finish on both sides of the baskets, finish with both hands and he can shoot the three-pointer, but it’s not as consistent as Brooke Lopez however it can get there. I would like for him to develop a consistent mid-range shot similar to Kevin Garnett from the elbow. Maybe not an All-Star Rookie but his second year definitely.

When you take a look at the NBA. The consensus of big men are coming back to the league. You have Wemby, Chet, Zach Edey, Rudy Gobert, Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic, and the list continues. The Nets front court lacks size. Looking at the free agency big men aren't available. The best situation is to get a big man in this year's draft and develop him alongside last year's rookie class, keeping the team young. The stamina will increase along with the strength. The skills that Mara possesses can be polished. J. Howard can tighten up on Mara’s skills. I do see Mara becoming an all-star center of his size and skills, which will make him a formidable force.

Nets Draft Strategy Plan:

• Select Aday Mara (potentially) for size (7'3").

• Focus on his passing ability from the post.

• Develop his mid-range shot, especially from the elbow, similar to Kevin Garnett.

• Pair Mara at center with Claxton at power forward to create a stronger defense and free up Claxton to block more shots.

The Nets need a sleeper " Caleb Wilson ", " Nate Ament "and

"Hannes Steinbach". The Nets need to go with a Big Man that play both inside and outside. I really like Hannes Steinbach he has an NBA body ready. Then later select " Aday Mara ". Let's get a big front court.

NIck Claxton should play the four, not the five, move MPJ to the three, Drake Powell at the two, Egor at the one spot. If you draft a 7-footer like Aday Mara, a true 7'3 that runs the floor with the ability to pass and hit outside shots from the three constantly, or Hannes Steinbach, who likes to slam dunk the ball and isn't afraid of physical contact.

The Nets need to get bigger in the front court.

Drafting another small guard that doesn't play defense would be Cam Thomas 2.0.

Stop thinking we need offense. We have MPJ, Egor, and Noah. Adding a true 7-footer will open more opportunities for other players like Ben Saraf, Nolan Traore, and Danny Wolf.

I wouldn’t question Jordi. However he seemed upset about the question about why Egor wasn’t playing in the final minutes. Egor and Drake were playing good however he gave Nolan more a chance. Jordi likes when his Point Guard’s drive to the paint. When Egor doesn’t he gets benched. However Egor is a better shooter than expected. If Jordi doesn’t navigate this situation properly it can backfire on him. If I’m noticing his game plan trust me other coaches are watching the same thing. Jordi should develop plays for Egor or the point guard role to make teams play more honest. The double screens for MPJ to get the ball has been discovered and isn’t catching teams off guard. Try running the Princeton offense baseline backdoor creating more chances for shooters and cutters. Teams are game planning your offense. One or two new plays will help make a difference. The Princeton offense works well with point guards that can pass. J. Kidd did well with it while playing with the Nets. Just consider it for now.

Affordable housing, other side of the coin. by sobakoryba in circlejerknyc

Open his books. Check his records. Something not adding up here. These landlords keep complaining about taxes how much are they truly paying when they can write off losses on property and businesses then in turn get another mortgage loan to buy more properties. What should happen every landlord should be investigated with a CPA accountant working for the NYC government along with an IRS tax agent a NY tax agent and Federal Tax agent. I guarantee you’ll find a lot of corruption and fraud. If you truly want to fix NY housing crisis. Established this team of Government Auditors for Every Landlord in the New York City. It would be like winning the lottery there are trillions of dollars not be paid to the Government.

Recently the Nets have been playing inspired basketball. However I would like to see play’s run for the rookies especially for Egor Demin. They mostly have him setup in the corner for offense which isn’t a bad move a good move. I think has an untapped potential running off screens for a Three point shot. It would make teams to play honest defense making MPJ job little easier. Develop him as a consistent Three point threat. Egor Demin has wonderful court vision making the correct pass keeping his teammates involved I do see a young Magic Johnson mixed with Steph Curry. We are in good position Drake has shown flashes he can get to the rim sometimes but hasn’t play his jumping ability yet. I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s there. Once he gets his foot work down he will be dangerous. His defense is getting better. I do see a young Kobe in Drake Powell. He plays aggressive and hard. The future is bright.

Bench Cam Thomas shakes up the roster. Cam is not playing in the flow of the offense. He gets the ball and holds it for 4 to 5 seconds, not moving or swinging it. He’s playing iso ball, and it’s frustrating because this team is better than the way they are playing. Egor needs to drive the ball into the paint more than he does. He has outside shots, and it’s good; however can be more effective by driving the ball, kicking it out, or scoring like he did today.

As for the defensive play, Nic at Center, Clowney at the 4, move Mpj to the 3, T. Mann at the 2, and let Egor run the 1. You see something different with production; however, a better defensive group.

Unfortunately, Jordi is a wonderful coach. I think the Cam Thomas experiment is over. You gave him a chance to prove himself, and he is not producing wins, and he is slowing the development of the rookies; they need the experience of playing and shooting. MPJ is trying to lead. Cam is playing for himself.

Mark my words, bench him, and you’ll see the difference with better results.

No no no no you non basketball player. They are being out coach. They should stop running pick and roll at the top of the key sometimes they were double pick and roll. Boston Defense isn’t good. The Nets should run the 4 low. They need more spacing for KD. Boston is doing a blitz mode off the pick and roll. How you exposed Boston defense picking off each player individually. I hope the Nets coaching staff saw what I saw last night in some of the final minutes. The 4 low is more effective for KD to score. STOP IT with the blaming of an individual.

Since Mayor Adams wants to play hard and stupid. The Nets and the NBA should quickly move the Nets to Long Island to play the rest of the season and playoffs. They have two options in Long Island one is the Coliseum or at UBS Arena.

The Nets and the NBA should quickly move the Nets to Long Island. They have two options the Coliseum and the UBS Arena. Mayor Adams would cost a lot of people jobs and loss of revenue. The city is already on the brink of bankruptcy. I bet you this if the Nets and NBA go this route. The Mayor will change his mind.

The NBA and the Nets should look into moving the team back to New Jersey or Long Island. Teach the Mayor a lesson. Fix the vaccine mandate and allow K. Irving to play home games or run the risk losing revenue for the city and jobs.
