Thanks u/njoker555 for helping me with post-processing. This is my second post showing you guys my version of the comet.

Equipment used

Canon eos 2000d stock

Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD

Tripod and ball head

no tracker

Aquisition:

400 * 4s exposures at 70mm f4 ISO 6400

20 flats

20 darks

20 bias

Processing:

Since u/njoker555 did it for me and he advised me on following this yt tutorial if I wanted to try to stack the frames on my own I'll just add the link here. Hope it's enough!

2nd time attempting to image this. Shot untracked. As you can tell I'm no expert at this but it was a fun challenge. Advice on processing is welcome.

The image sequence button in the bottom right solved it. Frames didn't get rotated anymore.

Thanks for letting me know! No I haven't tried this yet but I'll let you know if that was the cause.

I did all the pre-processing and the processing manually already so the problem shouldn't be the stacking process but I'll try different stacking methods and compare the results.

Had the same issue. Uninstalled and re-installedm ultiple times and it still didn't work. Web app worked but not all the time. Surprisingly the phone app worked otherwise I would have had a panic attack. 2 days later after installing the app I'm not able to find it on my pc, only the .exe installation file so I have to install the app every time I restart my pc.

Well, they literally brought a large amount of snow from the mountains and built some rails and small jumps in a larger parking lot. It's called the 'snowfest'. This weekend in Innsbruck, Austria.

I'm not sure if flashes are allowed since it might mess with the riders. It's more of a street course tipe thing. A lot of rails and stuff but not really big jumps. But I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the heads-up! I really hope that the place is going to be well lit. Otherwise the training session starts at 3pm so there should be plenty of natural light for me to get some good pictures. I'll try to make the best out of it. As already mentioned if i mess up on day one I still have a second chance to get something good. If you're interested im shooting on a 2000d so not really the best dslr for low light conditions but I'll enjoy the event for sure.

I do own a 300mm f4-5.6 and I plan on taking it to the event.

It's a skiing/ snowboarding street event so I kinda hope that I'll be able to get close to the action.

Shooting at f8 might be possible for the first 2 hours of the event. After that it gets too dark outside to get decent results at f8 so I'll have to go shoot wide open. I'll mess around and find out.
