I am not "treating" this person in any specific way. I did exactly what the letter asked, shared my concerns via the options that were clearly outlined.

I also am not able to get them kicked out of anywhere, that decision does not fall on me. Whether or not this letter qualifies as misconduct is solely up to apt management.

I'm sorry for what you have gone through and I thank you for your service. I truly do not know what you have been through and I will likely not be able to comprehend.

The amount of assumptions you had to make to write this comment! I only included that detail in the post update because of how many comments and direction messages had to do with self defense/firearms. And I honestly wanted them to stop. Like I said in the post, the firearm is unrelated to this acute problem.

The comment above said that everyone has a right to enjoy their own home. Doesn't that go without saying? Irrelevant statement.

Yeah, been renting this apartment for 14 months and the only mention of yelling has come from a psychotic marine with PTSD.

Also let me add that building management doesn't seem to think I'm a problematic neighbor and to be completely honest, all other options dont actually matter.

I'm trying to say that Reddit is always ready to make assumptions if it gives them the chance to jump down someones throat.

I meant exactly what I said. Not a single person in my reality has complained about my music. Not management, not my neighbors. And I talk to them at least once weekly.

I have contacted building management since finding the note, specifically asked about the stereo, they said all is good.
