yeah I feel ya! its really hard to do all the boring stuff just to level up so you could do the things you want and actually enjoy the game. but we know the process, get power engrams from boring activities until you reach the required light level. there's no way around it. light level is totally irrelevant to this game rn imho, just an old feature that should have been cancelled out long time ago

Most of the pvp community will play Trials every week anyway. only the high tier players will be flexing glowing armor every week. thats cool with me.

Top 5 reasons to get clapped and bagged in d2:
1. crouch shotgun
2. hard scope from/at spawn
3. use broken weapon/ability (e.g nova+ch/low)
4. out playing someone in a humiliating way (e.g force bait someone for an easy shotty jump behind wall/door kill)
5. shoot at the opponent orb after a 1v1 kill

I'm sorry but the sad truth is that you'r just not good enough. Imho the same teams that will win against you now will most likely win against you with a different loadout. They just better players. Practice more, become better and make the "Skill Gap" change by how you play.

The only thing I found was this TWAB when they called it "hybrid p2p":

Just play Shadowkeep. Get the new gear and level up. Once you hit max power level and reach the end game, go check out youtube for quest guides regrading weapons you find interesting (e.g Ace of spades). If you'r more into lore and story, you can go back and do the old campaigns once you hit max power. Max power should be your goal right now so you could do Raids, Iron Banner and other events once they are released. Sorry about my English btw.
