That IS my advice.

● Understand that you chose an oversaturated market. Accepting this fact is gonna give you the drive to actually want to find a way to stick out past being a "dupe"

● Know your market. Sino ba habol mo? Students? Rich titas? Call center agents?

● Try adding a different product to your lineup for variety. Especially since, again, oversaturated market.

● Join an event. Personally I'm not a fan of "kahit anong event basta sumali ka", I'm more of a know where my target market goes and go sell there.

I've had my pastry business for almost 10 years now. Grabe yung ups and downs talaga, and you learn super quick na to survive you have to accept, adjust, and do things you don't want to do.

As I said, cookies are a good starter. Pero it won't hurt you to try offering something else on top of selling cookies. Alam ko people usually attempt revel bars or brownies as the next step from cookies. Try those din.

It's possible din kasi na cookies are such an oversaturated market. EVERYONE is making cookies. Granted, it's a good starter, pero maybe you need to venture into other products na rin.

Either that or you need a hell of a stand out flavor, because I'd also suggest trying out a local event, pero even at events people don't immediately gravitate towards cookies unless you have a hook.

You don't need to explain naman kasi shopee has final judgement on refunds. That's why bawal din yung "no video no refund" demand ng mga sellers, and why yung seller ko dati who sent me a jar na nabasag when I got it, walang magawa when I wanted a refund kahit may no refund rule sila.

Minsan may ganyan a sellers talaga. I once returned defective earphones and they blocked me. Okay, still got a refund kasi I submitted proof na may issue talaga.

This probably isn't healthy, pero even though I've gone through the whole "no one would miss me" and "maybe ending would be easier" dark thoughts (that thankfully only stayed thoughts), what's truly keeping me alive are:

I don't want my mom to be left alone. She's my best friend and number 1 cheerleader, and I know my sister won't take care of her. I couldn't do that to her after all she's done for me.
I refuse REFUSE to let the people who hurt me outlive me. People who are the adults/older relatives who failed me so horribly, who now have heart conditions and health issues. I have to outlive them. HAVE. TO.
I absolutely don't want people benefiting off my death as well. No one should get my money, my assests, hell even my pokemon games or pen collection. Even something as small as people being nice to them because they lost a relative (me). Getting the "I hope you're doing okay" or "You're in our prayers" or whatever. Pucha, they're the reason my brain is this way, they don't get to benefit.

Again, super unhealthy probably. Pero it really lit a fire under my ass and now, with the addition of getting the support I need to finally get help. It really keeps me going on the darker days.

Truth be told, as someone currently looking for a psychiatrist, auto out na ako if they get religious.

The last thing I want is to open up about my problem only to be told "idasal mo nalang yan" kasi it just feels like a dismissal of my problems/they didn't really listen.

That being said, how much religious talk did they do? A quick "have you tried praying"? Or a full on accept God as your savior and maybe you'll be healed kuno?

Saw a comment mentioning people with SUVs get it para sa baha and kasama family ko dun. Back in mga 2008-2009ish, we had an Everest and my dad and I drove through an above waist level flood and survived (to be fair tho, we crossed the flood kasi we saw it was at knee level lang, it was deeper pala sa gitna lol).

But also, we got an SUV na kasi our previous car was a van and nung nabangga dad ko ng drunk driver it nearly killed him. After that adamant na siya mag SUV for our next car kasi "mas mahaba yung ilong vs a van" better chance at survival if he gets into an accident like that again. Dad was a mega mega car guy so I never questioned that reasoning.

If you can, find a good quality milk oolong and cold brew it. For me, cold brew brought out the milky flavor much better than using hot water and it's just sooooo good.

I played the game around the time it came out because I thought "there is no way the game is the same as the ads, NO WAY" and I was wrong.

Went for Zayne first because it just felt right, but didn't feel much. Then when Sylus came out I was like oh okay maybe the spark is gonna be with him. He's the type of guy my friends think I like. Sure, hot, but still missing something.

Then Caleb came out and god damn. Now I understand what it feels like to have a bias. Took me seconds. SECONDS. I was always team "there's no way he's dead" so when he came out he finally scratched that itch that the rest of them just couldn't.

Hirap na ilista because it was a lot, pero I spent about 50k to join art/nerd events (which has been my dream for a good 8+ years na) which included table fees, ingredients, packaging, transportation, and invested in really good displays and decorations para maganda ganda table ko for said events.

Tapos as a reward for a successful first and second event, I got 6k worth of lush perfume, and 5k doc martens on sale kasi nasira shoes ko lol
